Voluntary Contribution

Julie,

Just a thought: perhaps the S'Board could set up a "voluntary" contribution from its members. Revenues may be slim, may be great.

I don't really have much need for the pay-for-pictures idea. I've checked it out, but, can't get into it.

I think that I and others would be glad to "contribute" to the board, in small amounts, with a payment plan of our own chosing. For example, I could be interested in "contributing, say, $2.00 per month. If 50% of members contribute this, you'd see an income of $2,200 per month. More as your site grows, which it is doing at an amazing rate!

Your site is the best in existance. Period. Its interesting, informative, stimulating and great fun. The people that you have attracted make it a hot, fun place.

Your advice (again, thank you!!) is spot on!

Ok, I never replied to this initially because I just don't like the idea of asking you guys for $$. In general the ads on the site do more than pay for what it costs to run the site and gives me some for my time spent as well.

While no one else replied publicly to say they would be interested in this idea I did get a couple of emails over the last few months and I thought about it some more and decided to set a page up for those of you who would like to donate to support the Swingers Board and keep it free.

As long as the money coming in from whatever venues on this site is enough to cover the costs of running it and put a few $$ in my pocket this site will stay free.

All that said, if you are interested in donating please check out <a href="http://www.swingersboard.com/info/donate.html" target="_blank">this page.</a>. I would also appreciate some feedback on the page and on your thoughts on this idea in general. Thank you to those who have already provided that via email and thank you to M&B for the idea.

We have never used and will never use PayPal. We have no problems sending you a postal money order to a PO Box or an address of your choice. We are more than willing to donate to this board but not through the 2 listed options. Thanks for all your efforts. We really appreciate you.

I can't help but wonder why anyone would go to any other swinging site that I have seen after leaving this one. Especially when you look at the prices they charge and what they have to offer. I would suggest you go to a multi-tierd membership. One free level that gives exposure to general areas, a second level that expands access and the highest level which would require verification for those that are really dedicated to some extent to the lifestyle and meeting others...the highest level may also be a ticket to regional parties. I would project this site to be well into 4 digit numbers concerning quality members very soon. Just a thought...John. P.S. Thanks for the feedback and compliments John. Like I've said probably a hundred times tho I have no intention of making this a membership site.
