Pubic Hair Fashion 2010

We've been tracking this for a couple of years but since fashions are rarely timeless we've decided to track this one anew every year to see how fashions change.

What people do with their pubic hair changes with fashion as much as the hair on their heads, especially among us Lifestyle types.

Please answer with one combination representing both of you as a couple.

The three categories are:

• Shaved - You take off all your pubic hair
• Trimmed - You remove or trim some of your pubic hair (usually around genitals) but leave some there like a landing strip or triangle
• Natural - You leave your pubic hair alone (think '70s porn)

Ahh how I love men who go natural. I prefer shaved or trimmed on women, I shave it off myself.

But for some reason I like lumberjack hair on men. Mm.

Easier to shave than trim. Easier to shave it all than try to leave it even and shaped correctly. Both smooth!

We are both shaved, for about a year now. So much easier! And once your skin gets used to it, you don't have to worry about the little "shave bumps". I shave 3x a week now, it's much faster and completely painless!

Now that we're a couple of months into the 2010 version of this poll I thought I'd post a summary of how things have changed so far this year.

Men:
Shaved - 31.3% (down from last year's 37.7%)
Trimmed - 62.5% (way up from last year's 50.5%)
Natural - 6.3% (down a lot from last year's 11.8%)

Women:
Shaved - 56.3% (down from last year's 65.2%)
Trimmed - 37.5% (up from last year's 28.4%)
Natural - 6.3% (essentially the same as last year's 6.4%)

Almost two thirds (64.6%) of our couples sport matching pubic hair length which is up from last year's 57.4%.

The most common combination for couples this year is "Man Trimmed- Woman Trimmed" which makes up 1/3 of all couples. By comparison, in the 2007-2008 poll it was 1/5th and last year's top combination "Man Shaved-Woman Shaved" is down to 27% from last year's 33%.

Now that we're in the "lusty month of May", it's time again for a summary of how things have changed so far this year.

Men:
Shaved - 32.8% (down from last year's 37.7%)
Trimmed - 59.4% (up from last year's 50.5%)
Natural - 7.8% (down a lot from last year's 11.8%)

Women:
Shaved - 60.9% (down from last year's 65.2%)
Trimmed - 32.8% (up from last year's 28.4%)
Natural - 6.3% (essentially the same as last year's 6.4%)

Most (62.5%) of our couples sport matching pubic hair length which is up from last year's 57.4%.

The most common combinations for couples this year are "Man Trimmed- Woman Trimmed" and "Man Shaved-Woman Shaved" which are tied at 30% of all couples each. By comparison, in the 2007-2008 poll "Man Trimmed-Woman Shaved" was the most popular at 32% and last year's top combination was "Man Shaved-Woman Shaved" at 33%.

We are both completely shaved and have been for many years. For a variety of reasons we would'nt have it any other way.

For the most part, hubby and myself are both shaved.

Myself: I shave it all off.. top to ahem.. bottom.. hehe

Hubby: Just above the shaft to his bottom is all shaved as well. He trims the other hair leading up to and around that so it doesn't look like such a cut off point with the hair.

We prefer the feeling of completely bare when it's freshly shaven, but if a play partner approached us with the desire for a little bit of hair, then I'm sure we would be more than willing to accomodate, as long as they aren't wanting some kind of massive bush! haha
