I've been manscaping since I entered the lifestyle several years ago, but in the past it was just around the cock and balls. Most of the rest of my pubic region I left alone. Based on the advice on another thread here I picked up the Philips Body Grooming System (BG2030 in the US and TT2030 in Canada and the U.K.). Wow! What a fabulous system. It has allowed me to trim everything right down to a small patch and I'm loving the results. If you've never heard of it be sure to google it guys. It takes the hassle out of manscaping.

Here's my questions - one for the girls and one for the guys.

Ladies: How much do you like him to trim off? I read one post where a lady said "if it curls cut it". That's basically where I am now. What are your preferences? Bald, a patch, a hairier man patch?

Guys: If you have the Philips system do you use it wet or dry? If wet what do you use for a shaving gel. Also do you use it on your balls? I still get caught there so I think I'll keep the blade for the balls and the bodygroomer for everything else. Finally what do you put on after shaving to reduce any irritation from the razor (I'm sure my skin will get used to it in time).

I always get irritated from a shave so I just go for the 1/4" buzz cut for all of man-land. I'll let it grow back out to about 1/2" before I trim it up again.

My wife absolutely loves the 'goody' trail, as she and I'm sure several other like to call it, that goes up to the B. Button so I keep it shaved completely starting about 1/2 inch above the cock and down. The rest is very short, maybe 1/4 inch and groomed.

I have seen men not shaved at all, completely shaved and then just the patch. My wife will simply say as long as it's 'neatly' kept it's fine anyway with her.

I actually have that same Phillips groomer. I use it everywhere. The thing is much better than my razor I used to use. The razor would give me crazy razor burn in the areas around my legs and I hated it. Haven't had any issues with the groomer and I do use it on the balls. I have to pull the skin really taunt to keep the trimmers from pinching me but other than that it's great.

I have used it in the shower but for the most part so I could rinse after I was finished. It seems to work about the same either way. I have not tried it with any gels but would be interested if anyone has found anything that works.

I like leaving a short trimmed patch on top. I don't like shaving myself completely because, quite frankly - I look like I'm 12 years old when I've tried that

I have been using the Norelco personal shaver on my cock and sack for a year now and find the unit to be perfect.
