Hair removal advice.

Okay so here's a very strange first question for ya. I'm having some issues with removing my pubic hair. I'm wanting to go completely brazillian. Not all that difficult for my wife, who's already done it in the past. I, however, am not so lucky as to have so few bumps and curves in that area.

So I figured I'd ask and see if anyone has advice on the best method for removing pubic hair. One of the major concerns I have is that I also want to remove the hair around my back door, and quite frankly, the thought of a blade that close to such a sensitive area kinda freaks me out.

Anybody know of some good hair removal products at, say, WalMart?

I for one, have issues shaving my "Certain Area". I don't know if there is a phobia named for it...

Basically, I just don't want any sharp object around my BALLS

And then the fact that I don't feel comfortable saying to Mrsfun " Honey, will you help me shave my balls ?"

I mean that just sounds messed up, saying to anyone

Now as we have busted out laughing on the occasions I did ask. Again, I don't like a sharp object around my balls, while laughing hysterically. It makes them moving targets NOT COOL !

I have found that VEET, is my best option. It takes about 5-10 min to soak and remove any unwanted hair. (be sure to read the directions carefully) It kinda gives you something to do while standing there waiting, looking silly hoping no one busts in and your just standing there. Imagine trying to explain

The best part for me is the plastic, scraping tool. No pain, no fear, no hair

Oh, and one more thing. One of those round 6" mirrors is pretty handy. Just be sure to get a second opinion when your done, before going public. A missed patch can be quite embarrasing. Trust me, I know

Have you thought of waxing? It is easy. Fairly painless and takes little time. The advantage to waxing is that after time, the hair eventually grows back must softer and lighter. Also, waxing becomes easier after each session.

Shaving has so many issues associated with it.

Creams work but I quesiton, if they can dissolve hair, what are they doing to your skin.

Hey actually have a question here. I'm using Nair (V) and while it does a great job of getting rid of the hair, it always leaves a stubble. Like it can't quite reach the very end of the hair. I tried leaving it on longer and ouch that hurt and still left the stubble. Any suggestions?

I don't suggest waxing. It's not good on sensitive areas because it removes the whole hair follicle which means that when the hair starts to grow in, it has to penetrate the skin all over again which (on sensitive skin) means red bumps and ingrown hairs.

It's fine with me when guys have hair as long as it's trimmed ("manscaped" if you will), but if you really want it ALL GONE, I'd suggest a depilatory cream called 'Surgi Cream' (I've seen it at Sally's Beauty Supply). It sounds very technical and scary but is very gentle and works well. I've got super sensitive skin everywhere and products like Nair gave me chemical burns, so I discovered this one and it's much better. Also, the more you use it, the finer the hair gets.
