I'm sorry a product I mentioned bruised you! ouchie! Adventures in waxing stories: We were using the electric pot for the first time. Kept the heat up at 10 (hottest) to melt the wax. Turned it to 5 to start waxing. Didn't wait for it to cool down long enough, and burned the inside crease where my thigh meets the pubic area. Had to walk like a cowboy for that day. ![]() I have several girlfriends who've been burned badly by the laser too. So what's the answer to our dilemma? Mrs. D |

| You don't need to apologize at all...I'm thankful that you brought this product to my attention. I like it and I'm not ready to give up on using it. I need to develop the right technique when using it, that's all.It smells so good, and the product stays pliable for a long time, which I liked because I didn't feel rushed to pull it off. The cleansing lotion and oil the kit comes with is also wonderful to use. Sorry to hear you burned yourself when you started out. It does take doing it a few times to get it right. I did the laser thing and don't recommend it. My pubic skin darkened and it wasn't attractive because of it. Also, it never kept my hair from growing, just slowed the growth down between treatments. It was a very painful process to endure. I'd never do it again. LM |

I have waxed for several years, first at a spa, which got very expensive and now I do it at home. I go to the beauty supply store and get professional products. I tried the hard wax which worked well but was very difficult to get off my skin, even with using powder. I recently tried the soft wax with muslin strips and so far have the best results for me. Through some trial & error I have a good system that works for me and can get it done in under 30 minutes. I have to wax about three weeks. I don't generally do anything between like shave or pluck.

I went to a supply house and purchased a professional waxing system. I also got the numbing spray so between waxing I just spray the area and tweeze. Actually doing that I can really stretch out the time between waxng. After doing it a bit it gets less each time. I thought tweezing would be realluy bad but actually its not at all. Melody |

Yea my wife does it every 2 - 3 weeks depending on if we are going to a lifestyle party or not. In between she does nothing. The few times she has tried to touch up by shaving, it was a disaster when she went to get waxed, she said it hurt like a mother fu------- lol. I dont mind a little growth sometimes but if we are going to play, definitely smooth
