When I first got into the lifestyle about 5+ years ago you only occassionally saw a girl who shaved her pussy -

Personally I am plagued by the red bumps/ingrown hairs etc so don't do it myself - I figure neatly trimmed is way way better than red bumps - plus I still get to have sex which I CAN"T do if I shave it. but now I am in the extreme minority... every girl I encounter now does.

Don't tell me to try waxing - try way worse ingrown hairs and it only looks nice for a week and then you have to wait 4-5 more weeks before you can go back in for another waxing? I'm happy with it the way it is.

BACK TO My original question - how many guys shave? I have met I think 2 - and of course a few more at a nude beach - but really what do you suppose is the percentage... and does it vary with age of the person...

My husband began shaving about three years ago. It was actually something we just tried together, before we ever began swinging. In the beginning he shaved it all, but now just keeps the testicals and shaft shaved with the upper groin area kept neatly trimmed. He has had no problems with irritation.

He enjoys the feeling of mine and his being shaved when we have sex. We both agree that there is definitely a different feel to 'shaved' sex.

Heck yes I shave and/or trim. I use a trimmer for beards and take all the hair off the balls and shaft and near the boottie area. Also, I take all the hair off in the groin area with the trimmer so I don't get bumps. I leave a patch about the size of a silver dollar in my groin area so I still have a manly look to it.

"K" hates to see a man with hairy balls and groin area. She says ladies take care of that area that men ought to also. I use to shave it all off which she liked very much, but now she likes just the patch of hair. Waxing is a killer and in time gives real bad bumps. So use a trimmer I say.

Men---trim down that area and it will add about 1 inch to the visual effect of your wanger. Use a trimmer and do it with steady hands!!!!!

Absolutely. i agree with j and k that a trimer for most and then a smooth shave for the shaft and testicles.

no, no, no...im not about to shave OR trim my pubic hair. It's not as though it gets so long it has to be trimmed. I honestly prefer women who arent completely shaved either. Actually a bikini line is all a woman needs, IMHO. Everyone's pubic hair has a different look, and it makes women look more unique. If everyone shaved, we'd all look the same. And I really DONT buy the "adds an inch visually" thing for guys. I assumed that was the reason porn actors did it, but i dont think it looks too appealing. My wife agrees...she thinks trimmed pubic hair looks kind of sleazy on a guy, like a pinky ring or a pony tail.

Well, yes, I do. I have been smooth for about 2 years. It's easy to take care of in the shower everyday using ladies razors and Skintimate gel - which I like better than the foam. The razor stubble can be helped by applying some Dove deodorant after shaving (and it really, really works!) I like the way it feels and looks and so does J.

My husband has shaved for me. I like it much better. If he doesn't shave, he trims the hair. It's a major turnoff for me to have to pick pubic hairs out of my mouth and teeth when I'm giving him a blowjob. I stay shaved for him so he doesn't have to do the same when he eats my pussy.

I have to fully agree. There is nothing more disruptive than halting all activity to pick out a hair from your teeth or the back of your throat. I have a weak gag reflex and it definitely spoils the mood.

i wanna add one last thing here...pubic hair has naturally soft ends and feels good against your face. Trimmed pubic hair has sharp bristley ends and is like putting your face against a scrub brush.

We both shave our genitals and cannot contemplate ever having pubic hair again. The smooth body is cleaner, more comfortable and more attractive to look at in our view. Best of all it is more sensitive so smooth sex is very enjoyable. When we are having oral sex there is no hair getting in our mouths and when we fuck the feeling of our smooth bodies grinding together is fantastic. Most of the couples in our circle shave too and so do an increasing number of our non-swinging nudist friends.
