Tanning - Page 2

Read in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette this morning that Charleston, West Virginia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania have a greater number of tanning salons per 100,000 residents than any other parts of the USA. I wonder why. A thought came to my mind that in places where the sun shines fewer days, maybe people have a greater desire to wear that "look".

The survey did not include Canadian cities. I wonder if those sun-deficient northern regions nurture an ever larger desire to look suntanned?

Oh boy there a lot of tanning salons up here. I feel sooo out of place by being lily white, even at the beach.
