We were wondering where you can go to get a genital piercing? We did a search of this web site & didn’t see anything about good places to go. We know we can’t get it done in Michigan but was wondering if there was a place in Canada?

Why cant you get it done in Michigan? I know of quite a few people that do it and sometimes you can set it up to have a peircing party.

Yes, you can get those done in Michigan. I had my clit (hood) done last October. Usually the places also do tatoos too. Make sure they are certified by the Health Dept and if possible talk to someone that has been to them before (I know it will be hard to do). Anyway, that is what I did and very happy with the results.

Go in and see how you feel. My piercer explained everything and as he talked I could see that they followed sterile technique and did everything possible to prevent contamination. I have been a nurse for about 20 years so I really look at the stuff. I had no problem with mine at all.

Well...call the tatoo places around you and I'm sure will find someone that will do it.

Rhonda........I am so thinking about getting my hood done but have had some reservations about it. I have my nose and belly button done. Worried about the pain, desensitizing and all that good stuff. How do you like yours?

Got to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Sure hurt when he was doing it but nothing much after. My belly button was more of a pain while healing, in fact I had to get that redone but the hood was healed in a week. I even changed the ring within 4 to 5 weeks after I got it done. (the belly, I changed after 10 months, as I kept getting infections and irritations....its great now).

I like it......actually I like them both.

So, to answer the question......didn't feel it was a big deal, more embarrassing then anything else. My piercer was great.

as for the desensitizing, I actually think I have more sensations than before. Only problem..is if someone is rough with it then I'm sore the next day. Would I do it again.......probably

Most any place that does body peircings in general will do genital peircings, sometimes it's just a matter of asking as they may not have it listed on their price list.

The Tribalectic website is the one that provided me with a lot of information when I was contemplating getting my nipple piereced. They have a lot of feedback on all types of piercings and is a great site for finding an abundance of first hand experiences.

The Tribalectic website is where I did my research. Found it better than some, and has lots of good information. Also have used it when I went to change my jewlery.

Susie has her clit hood pierced. She had it done in Dallas. We lived about 70 miles from Dallas at the time. On the way home, she kept playing with it, giving all the truckers quite a show. We had to pull over on a country road half way home to have sex.

There is no decrease in feeling for her. She uses her ring to "mark the spot" for her viberator. We both love it.
