After some hints from Lovinhim I finally took the plunge and did some yard work down below. Being the first time it was pretty comical and took me about a hour. (blades and balls do not mix). Now that it is done I realize I should have done it a long time ago. As long as you keep up with the shaving every 2-3 days there is absolutely no itching, even less than before. Touch ups take only a couple of minutes. Another advantage is things definitely look bigger. Now I know why porn stars do it and Lovinhim loves it!

So to you guys contemplating this.....just do it already. Everything seems more sensitive now. You will have less itching and your SO will have more to lick/suck without hair in the way and she'll probably spend more time doing it.

Trust me, if I can do it, anybody can.

It took me awhile to shave too, but once I did, I too thought I should have done it long ago.

FYI...I use an electric shaver, a razor; balls and cock do not make for an easy shave job...The electric shaver does the trick.

Very interesting feedback here.I used to wax my pubic area for some time,it looked very nice for a month or so,but then my pubes grew back and very itchy I hated it.Then I tried to shave,that did.nt work good,its just too much of a hassle.Now I dont shave my pubes.All I want really is my anus area free of hairs but I dont know the best way of having my asshole clean and free of hairs and advice?

Interesting discussion..i am pretty hairy too and mrs. boggler prefers to have both top and bottom shaved down..so i thought why not make hay..i laid down 2 rules..rule 1: she shaves me both top and bottom rule 2: wearing only a skimpy thong...

initially was very nervous with putting our "future" in her hands but relaxed when i saw her handling things carefully..

enough said...seems like our bathroom has seen as much action as our bedroom lol..

100% love Mr. Frisky being shaven on both top and bottom! No hair in the mouth! Big suculent balls! He uses the Gillette Fusion, which looked so good to me I tried it as well....and love it! Doesn't feel like you are shaving and gets closer than any other razor I have tried.

Hell yes!!! When hubbie didn't shave it caused a lot of redness and it can feel like a bunch of pins are sticking you!!! Ouch! But he is a compassionate person and he shaved regularly. He used Gillette Fusion..... until he discovered waxing!! Now we have our special waxing weekends at the spa!! Fun and kind of a sexy way to start the two days off... being pampered!

You found a spa that will wax him.... wow.. I'm in AL I don't know that I could find a spa that would wax me ... but I do prefer to keep it shaved, but it leaves the razor bumps.....

Mr NC has found if he shaves very regularly, 2-3 times per week, he doesn't get as many red bumps. I also have him use the standard Dove Deodorant (which worked for me) after shaving - he's a mechanic and can get kinda sweaty during the day - I think the deodorant does prevent a lot of bumps. Course he can't use it when he shaves right before we go out....

Been shaving down under for about a year and the Mrs asked if I would shave the chest, well I have and she luvs it so earlier tonight we had to drop by the local drug-store and I wandered about and picked up one of those waxing kits the cold ones where you just rub your hands on them and peel away. She walked up grinned and said you gonna try it, I said yes but you have to do it.
Long story short first strip hurt like hell, I had thought about using it on the pelvic bone to remove hair there, but it hurt so bloody much at that point I had decided no way. then comes the second strip she decides to go slow. holy crap did that hurt and all the hair is still attached to my chest where the strip was, including some wax, its red and I'm looking at it my eyes are welling up, expecting to see it bleeding. I look at her and say what the F are you doing, are you crazy. She says sorry just lay down and I'll do it again. I'm backing away now skittering across the bed like a startled crap, no way your not touching me again, oh come on she says you screamed so much when I went fast that I thought maybe I would slow it down some. Slow it down, our teenage son moves faster doing a chore. No way your touching me again. I grabbed baby oil and started rubbing it on my chest to try to get the remaining wax off. Shes still saying just lie down I'll be faster. I moaned at her, you hurt me, and now you can't do it I have baby oil on it, and I'm never doing that again ever. You like it you can have the damn wax strips but I'm not touching them ever again. I jumped in the shower tears in my eyes wondering how the woman I love could hurt me like that, and continue to want to. I shaved everything, and will be sticking with a razor from now on. As I look down at this moment the left side of my chest has a one and half inch wide strip about three inches long that is red, and hurts to the touch.
Sorry Mr Miyagi, but no more wax on, wax off for me...

Hilarious story, Lardub! shades of 40 year old virgin

We used Nair for sensitive skin on PB's balls, bum(including crack- how rude does all this sound?), etc. Worked a charm!! Only problem- He gets me to apply it while he's in the midst of pre-party prep. I do so cheerfully- tired of stubbly balls as a result of shaving. I advise him to lie down on the bed for 10 mins to let the Nair work its magic. He gives me the "guy" look, pulls his sweats back up, and goes about shaving his face while he waits. 10 minutes pass. We wash em' off. Great results!! THEN he realizes that where his boys (and they are big, 'tis true) were resting against his legs, he has big bare patches. I reassured him that A) area usually covered by said balls, and B) it's pretty dark by the time he's got his clothes off in the play area anyway.

So once again he has had to admit that his wife DOES know what she's talking about, and when we redo the Nair treatment, he'll be spending ten minutes lying down, his balls not resting against his legs.

Mrs. Ekies started shaving in 1990. She keeps a landing strip for me to rub my nose on and changes it from time to time. The usual strip is just that...maybe an inch wide and two inches long. From time to time I find an arrow pointing south...I'm not sure who loves it the most, me, her girfriends or boyfriends. Sometimes its a triangle. Sometimes it points north and sometimes it points south, but either way it makes me and her boyfirends point.

As far as her other crack is concerned she keeps it smooth. Which is especially nice for an ass lover like me...

For me, I started shaving in 1993. It was a bit difficult at first with irritation and bumps to contend with. After some time though, my skin got used to the shaving and didn't react poorly.

I shave from the south end of my perineum up to and including my scrotum and one razor width on both my legs and crotch where my legs meet my crotch. I allow the hair above my penis to grow to lay neatly at the base but keep it short (1/2") and thin. I also thin the hair on my upper thighs slightly with a few very light razor passes every week or so.

For the "crack" I only thin it...I'm a bit sensitive in this area and the clean shave and then subsequent stubble, no matter how slight, irritate me horribly.

As far as my chest is concerned I do nothing with it. I'm not heavily haired to begin with and what I do have is light and soft according to Mrs. Ekies.

We both found that consistent shaving over time is what made it great for us. Then we found out how much we and others like smooth skin for sex, especially for those of us who are so into oral. We don't hate hair but we prefer neatly shaved genitals.
