I do hope it gets better I have been shaving daily or else the stubble get really severe. I tried some hand lotion I got from the hospital during my hosipital stay for the hip replacement last night and today has been much better.

OK guys...so like you know how you get those promotional razors in the mail? Gillette sent me a FUSION model as a promotion a while back. It's a 5 blade inline...really smooth...and 99.9 % knick free. It's a nice razor but the refills cost a freakin fortune. So it was perfect for me as an occsaional razor. I've only just started shaving...DOWN BELOW...maybe a few months ago. I usually shave fresh for club outtings and play dates. That razor works really well. I use Edge jell as the glide media and shave while showering. The hot shower works wonders and Edge gives you a cool menthol feeling afterwards...ahhhhhhh! No burning balls or five o'clock shadows (these had me rollin), but I would be interested in trying the Veet. I mean...no matter how good you are with a razor...it's a sharp object near a very vital organ...accidents are bound to happen. |

I use the Fusion and it seems to work well. We don't buy the refills it usually cheaper to buy new razor kit or look for special packages. Last time I bought a Kit with razor 4 replacement blades and shaving cream all for less then a 4 pack of replacement blades. Today we bought just the razor kit with new handle with blade and 3 replacements for 1/2 of what the 4 replacement blade kit cost. The irritation seems to get less daily so I hope it will all go away soon. Still just trying different things for after shaving to reduce the irritation. In fact I shaved my face for first time in 20+ years and with the newer creams and razors its feeling better than it ever did years ago. Sure was a shock to the family Red or the kid have never seen me with out a beard.

I don't care what my doctor thinks, and he has never asked. I think if a doctor asked me why I shaved down there, I would ask him if it was going to cause medical problems. To the best of my knowledge it doesn't, so I don't really think he would be concerned.

I've been shaving ever since I got the tubes cut, started out just the balls, eventually started shaving everything below the belt... Use a Fusion as well, if you go to some of the warehouse clubs, you can get a *lot* of refills for about the price of a new razor and refills. Currently have something like 24 refills waiting around. Wife definitely prefers the smooth look. Jason A. (total newbie to these forums) |

So the Fusion is a good tool for the tool! Thanks for the suggestions on getting cheaper refills. I will look into both. I did forget to mention one final step in my process which is a comfort to the jewels more than anything. I use Gold Bond Ultimate Comfort Body Powder to dust off the jewels with. This cuts down seriously on chafe and abrasion, plus it has a nice aloe scent. I do keep the little soldier powder free however, just in case he's beckoned to an oral engagement. I somehow don't think the powder would be very palitable.

Ed here-- I recently taken to shaving my testicles and the area around my cock. Susan thinks it's great. One thing, if you're using a blade, as I do, you might just nick yourself and have some bleeding. I have found that having 'liquid bandage' spray was a life saver as I was able to spray it on and have sex shortly after with no bleeding.

Yep. A couple minutes in the shower each day keeps the balls and shaft hair free. Mrs (and other ladies) love the feel of the skin and I've noticed are much more willing to perform oral. For you voyeurs: The view when playing is incredible! No hair to get in the way. I too let it grow back for my first couple of physicals, it looked weird and itched like crazy. Now, I don't bother and my Dr. hasn't said anything. If he does, I'll simply tell him it's at the request of the Mrs. and he can ask her if he wants more detail. |

The Mr. shaves, as he said, and it's quite nice. We picked up some Veet the other night and will give it a try on the weekend to see how it is for smoothness. We'll be sure to post results. The Mrs. | |

| Unless the member in question develops a @#*&!! cyst from an ingrown hair as a result of shaving... my poor sweet spousal unit is suffering thusly right now.

Guys, try waxing your upper pubic area!!!! My wife does it for me and it works great. The first time we tried, I nearly saw stars but by the second time it gets a lot easier. The biggest benefit is that you will not be stabbing your lady in her pubic area when your hair starts to grow. Your hair will start to grow a lot softer and it will grow less and less over time. My wife also waxes me in between my legs and anal areas so it's all clean. DO NOT attempt to wax your balls as the skin is is too soft and it just doesn't work well at all.....other than that, I frekkin love waxing. I can go for about 3 to 4 weeks without having to get it done again. |

A couple of years ago I decided to surprise my wife and shaved my whole pubic area. I had no problem and I liked the way it felt. However, my wife thought it looked strange. So now it just keep it trimed.

I have to agree whole heartedly with Richwig! The view is much better in unobstructed fashion. The other part about the view is (speaking from a really "average" view point cuz I know some of you guys out there are hung like Shetland ponies and this probably wouldn't apply anyway) after I shaved I kinda looked...well...just a little bit larger in the endowment department. I know...it was an optical dillusion...but it made me proud!!!! My missus also thought it was a liitle "different" looking at first, but she has grown really accustomed to it since it's sort of common place in the lifestyle. This thing about wax jobs though...wax on...wax off...seems a karate chop to the adams apple might feel better, but I can't say from experience...so I digress! I do wanna hear more about the veet from warrencouple...then it may be time to give that a try if there's no burning ball syndrome afterwards!! |
