I'm new to the site & new to the lifestyle. I'm just looking for advice on pubic hair removal. Has anyone tried using Nair or some such removal creme? What's the best method? I see pictures of women with absolutely NO hair ANYWHERE down there. How do you keep up with it? Will it itch like hell when it starts growing in?

I had it all waxed off professionally back in January. I do it at home myself now. If we have playtime set up with not enough time in between to do a proper waxing, I'll shave. There's a cream called Coochy Shave Cream that is wonderful and it doesn't leave bumps or burn.

You can do a search on Amazon for it, they sell it there.

I've shaved my wifes for years and use a cotton ball of Isophropyl alcohol first and a second ball of hydrogen peroxide second.

Prepare both cotton balls to be ready to wipe on the alcohol until it starts to sting then follow immediately with the peroxide which will kill the sting of the alcohol immediately.

She never has any bumps, or anything.

The creams are not meant for you private area and for me I react to the stuff even on my legs.

I have been told Brazillian waxing is the best but be prepared for the pain.

Personally I just shave. If you do it in a bath, keep it very moist and use lots of good shaving cream you can get a nice close shave.

DO NOT USE A DEPILATORY CREAM!

I have a friend whose husband's balls were rendered almost skinless from it. It's the same type of sensitive tissue that makes up a woman's labial folds and these creams are not meant for it.

I wax Dino sometimes. Other times, he shaves with help from me.

I wouldn't suggest creams of any sort. Never done it myself, but have heard some nasty stories, like DGrey mentioned.

Try waxing or shaving - for both men and women. Waxing hurts, but I think it's worth it.

Check Third Planet Products. They have an electric (battery) shaver Model name is "Body Bare". It works great, but needs the jungle to be cut down to stumps first. Adam & Eve has a small Battery powered shaver that will do that job quite well. Both units are dry shave (talcum powder lubricant).

Another "How Not To". Don't use your rotary electric triple head shaver!!

Didn't hurt, got things pretty smooth, then I looked down at the shower floor and it was runnin' red! Half a roll of toilet paper stuck all over my scrotum and it finally stopped bleeding.... until later that night when I painted the sheets. Don't do it!

First, trim up the long growth with scissors. Then, standing in the shower, use shaving gel and a twin blade razor.

We too found electric shavers were not the best for the genital area...a short trimming and then lots of lather and a good razor.

I prefer to use the good old fashioned razor, as does my hubby, but on occasion I have tried other products. Nair, and other depilatory creams have worked on me, but since they do cause some discomfort when it gets to close to the actual folds of a woman, I end up shaving some anyway. So I quit using it. Waxing is too painful.

There is supposed to be laser removal, and I am considering it. Does anyone know anything about that process? Does is work and how painful is it if any?

I agree with some of the other posts above......I absolutely would not put anything like nair on that oh so very sensitive part of your female body...especially near the folds and opening...it could lead to an infection or some nasty burns. I recommend soaking in a hot bath or using a warm washcloth to soften the hairs, then use a hair conditioner as a shaving gel...works for me. But personally I hate going totally bald....the itch the next week is absolutely unbearable to me!
