![]() But she is scheduled to have the twins tomorrow!! So stay tuned. Everything is abuzz around here right now, and I'm trying to keep my head on straight as I have to be Mr. Mom for a few days (and will also have to take care of our son too!) B.

Blinkey, congrats to you and your wife on your getting the Big Snip! Hope that tenderness is all gone real soon! Give your wife my best for her surgery. I'm sure she's both excited and nervous. A tip....it's not a cake-walk and she's going to need all the help she can get, for some time. Beyond a few days, she may really, really need a lot of extra help with kids/home. Hugs and best wishes! |

Thanks! About the time you're taking off....that's wonderful. My hubby took off a week from work to take care of me 24/7 after my surgery. After that, he had to go back to work, but I stayed home another week and a half, still recuperating. I still couldn't do chores, so he still did them after work (with the help of my daughter) until I was gradually able to do more and more. You might find that your wife has a lot of discomfort and swelling for some time to come, and might need that extra help, too. Also, it's likely that she won't be allowed (per surgeon) to lift anything, including/especially kids, for some time to come. Hugs!

In January of this year I had a lift and implants put in. I did it for me because from January to October of 2005 I lost apparently more weight then I thought, especially in my boobs So after looking at pictures between that time and looking in the mirror every morning Spoo and I talked about it and I decided to have the surgery. I knew I needed a lift but I didn't fit in my size D bras anymore so I wanted to be restored to what I was. I found a great surgeon who after long conversations of not wanting to look like some of the porn stars with obital balls on their chests and not needing to have boobs big enough to set my plate on we set a date. Now to answer your post question. No one knows (well except for all of you now ) that I had it done. I took off work with the explanation that I was just having some minor surgery. I could only have 4 days off without having to tell why... so surgery on Friday and back to work the following Thursday. I sit at a desk with no lifting necessary or recovery would have been longer. I have always woren low cut tops but could never go braless or where the tops with built in shelf bras...now I can. Since no one knows and I was never really much of a flasher before I really haven't changed much about how I act other than I feel sexier and better about myself. I did slip after getting in the car during a drunken stupor with some lifestyle friends leaving a vanilla bar and said... "I just realized how nice my boobs are" I sometimes wish I had taken after surgery pictures but Spoo assured me I wouldn't want to look at them a year from now and remember it. He said (and I agree) I looked like a crime scene...like someone had taken a baseball bat and beat me with it from my boobs to my waist. Now before you panic...I bruise very easily. You should see me now I have one on my arm from one of our sex sessions last week :rollseyes Also, the surgeon did both surgeries (lift and implant) and put it under the muscle instead of on top. I don't even want to think about what he had to do to get it under my breast muscle Would I do it again...you bet! Like having a kid (well sort of) the end result sort of makes you forget what you went through. I only wish someone had better prepared me for what I'd look like once I took the surgical bra off and started bruising. Follow your doctors instructions to the letter and don't lift anything if he tells you not to. I've had to have an in office fix to pull one implant down in place due to scar tissue but I am very happy with the results. Mrs Spoomonkey

On the drive home I couldn't help but hear the Barbie Girl song by Aqua in my head, and tried not to laugh--because then I'd have had to answer some questions. However, from what I can tell without having actually seen them uncovered, they will be great. B.

Glad to hear it went well. Hopefully they won't interfere with her running. My wife had to have breast surgery as in a lumpectomy last year and it is no cake walk. Thank God for the chemistry in her that is keeping her comfortable. Hope all goes well and her recovery is speedy. Keep us posted, and we expect to see a post op picture down the road. Just kidding, hope she does well.

Tybee Swing, Thanks for posting your informative reply. My wife is in a similar situation to the one you were in. Three kids took her from a B to DD and perky no longer describes her breasts. It is very hard to find pretty lingerie for DD and some other types of clothes don't seem to work very well either. It certainly sounds like it worked out well for you. I guess this will sound just like a man, but was the surgery really expensive? |

Hmm, I not very good with this forum yet... In my previous post I was actually replying to a post by Tybee Swing from 5/29. After I posted my reply I discovered that there was another whole page of replies... and my post didn't make sense when it was separated from the original post. Next time I'll quote the original text. Sorry about that! Q |

It was funny after my surgery some of the little things I couldn't do the first week. Like pulling on the refridgerator door :rollseyes ... as Spoo just told me anything using my arms. Even to pull open a bag of chips. :rollseyes It was almost embarrassing I was so helplessly useless. Mrs Spoomonkey

I am quite sure that mine will show hers off, but not being intimidating with them. The wife and I have a few friends, mostly guys and wives, that are interested in what they are going to look like. As she has a couple of friends that have been interested in having implants and are just about here size. ( 5 ft 100-115 lbs 32-34 frame). I think that she will wear more provocative outfits from time to time when we go out with friends. She is going submuscular, smooth saline, 330-360. This will take her from a 32a/b to roughly a 32c/d. She is not scheduled to go to surgury until July 11. We have vacation coming up that we have had planned for quite some time that we dont want the pain and discomfort distracting from this trip. Planning to take the week off after her surgery to take care of her and make sure she is not alone during the day for anything going wrong. |

I love wearing the sexy bras, even the demi-bras, sexy tops, braless, etc. For sagging, some people don't want the incisions, so they put implants in to perk them up some and fill them out, but she may have to go "big" to do that - and even then, they may not be perky, like she wished for. If she wants perky (like before babies), she may want to look into breast lift, like I had. There are lots of types of incisions for BL and different degrees of lift, because every woman is individual. Feel free to email if you need more details.
