Male/Female Improvements

Having been in "Lifestyle" for a couple of years and having visited a few nude/swinger resorts I have a question for both males and females on this site. It seems that men have no problem spending all kinds of money on their female partners in order to "enhance" their looks. Perms, dyes, botox, fillers, boob jobs, liposuction, butt enhancers etc. Not that the majority of women out there have had all or most of these done but .... the result in a nudist resort is an inordinate number of gorgeous females whereas the males of the same age group leave a lot to be desired! I know in the swinger scene a lot depends on the female/female attraction but what about us females that are turned on by the males .... where are the 40 something (and upward) well cared for males? Why don't the males consider spending some of that money on themselves? So for you guys - what makes you want to spend it on your partner but would not consider getting anything done for yourself? And for the females - would you like to see the guys do more with themselves? For the females who have had some "improvements" - is it difficult for you as a couple when you are staying young looking and he isn't?

I think it comes down to what the people involved want (as a couple). Since when does the male spend his money or since when it his decision even if his wife goes out and gets a perm, hair color, etc. Those are things most women do for themselves. Same most often goes on botox, plastic surgery, etc. Perhaps it is more that men are more comfortable and have less of a body image issue than most females do. Maybe, even, the wives of these couples are quite happy with their man just the way he is and see no need for "improvement" when it comes to hiim.

I think it's an issue in our society that women are pressured into having to look like a magazine cover, never grow old, etc. IMO, what we end up with is a lot of women who look like they've had a facelift, or can't make normal facial expressions because they've had botox, have breasts that look hard and ugly because they've had boob jobs. Not all "improvements" really lead to improvement.

I would hope that everyone would attempt to take care of themsleves, for their own sake. That people would shower regularly, trim/remove the unwanted hair, etc. But, most of all I would hope that they are doing these things for themselves and not because they are worried about what they will look like to society.

oooh my bad, sorry Julie, you are right I guess it ultimately comes down to what the woman wants to spend on how she looks although in our relationship anything "costly" is usually a joint decision. Yes I agree that we, as women, tend to live up to media expectations but I have heard many grumbles in lifestyles that its harder as a couple to find a male that has kept himself in good shape and is attractive to the female than it is vice versa. I am much more likely in any case to go for a sense of humor than a shape but I guess my question was more like why don't the males feel that their shape is important too?

Upon numerous of the past years at a start age twenty self improvement for a well looking body image has been one singular priority with me even currently upon reaching age 39 come November 17 2005. Unwanted growing hair such as the stray grey hair, nose hair growth, and occasional stray ear hair will get immediately taken off. Such grooming will also include periodic arm pit hair length trimming, stomach hair length trimming, chest hair length trimming, plus bum hair length trimming down at skin touch level gone there. One well discovered method for these body areas length trimming so as to avoid pricky cut ends has been found with an electric shaver applying the cutting wheels, without the trimmer, downward trimming action when using a well sized comb combing upward the body hair getting reduced on the comb's top side. The end result is wonderful for the hair trimmed will have a soft to the touch end feel. Even such trimming procedure will include well pubic region length reduction setting region contact with pleasurable softness. In turn the soft feel will be delightful upon body to her body rubbing. Too periodic exercise at the membership gym will continue so as affirming the open minded optimistic mental outlook plus naturally self-concious awareness keeping physically flexible with preferably lean to tone appearence. Daily facial grooming without a mustache, a beard, sideburns, and proper looking to each's taylored styled hair image constantly say our desire for uniformly maintaining the well complimentary overall image each of us as males will determine about our respectively each unique externality. Concious dressing through well coordination nearly finalizes ongoing male total improvement of mine. Intellectually progression does heap male improvement captively lastly. Such will remain obtainable by various read writings, interacting, including time upon quietness. I have to agree with the heart of these statements. We love going to nude resorts and swinger's clubs and have commented between us that there is a disproportionate number of attractive women compared to their male partners. Hubby (MrXxotic) is 41 and in great shape. He works hard to keep his physique not just for himself but for me too.

I have noticed a trend for the under 45 crowd in my area. The men are taking care of themselves just as much as the women are. Even the "Manly Man".

There's nothing sexier than a man that takes pride in his looks.

My hubby takes care of himself hygienically ... showers, shaves, trims, haircuts etc. but he would never go for cosmetic enhancements or improvements. Just not his style. He figures he will die with the same stuff the good lord gave him and just be grateful for the life he has had.

I, on the other hand, would go under the knife and be happy to do it repeatedly for many different vast improvements! I often joke with my husband and kids that if we were to win the lottery, I would go away for about 6 months and no one would recognize me when I got back.

This morning I turned on the TV set and saw this news-reader who had impossibly full collagen lips. It occurred to me that many movie and television people have impossibly full lips. I am also recalling the front cover of a 1970s Harvard Lampoon magazine parody, "Why Men Are Pigs and How to Dress for Them."
