Ouch! Experience with Veet bladeless shaver

I did try the Veet Sensitive Skin formula that doesn't have the bladeless razor with it - it's more like old fashioned Nair. It comes with a little spongy thing that it tells you to rub in circles over the hair (after letting the veet sit for several minutes). It worked pretty well and didn't leave me hurting.

In contrast, the same day I bought that I also bought the Nair (for down there) and tried it down there and OUCH! no thank you! All in all, I keep going back to shaving. Unless I go through a spurt where I just don't shave for a week for some reason ... and that just doesn't happen on purpose.

I recently went out and got Veet for Men, the experience was NOT good. It was the one with the bladeless razor. The first time I used it I left the stuff on for less than five minutes. Little or no hair was removed. I then waited a few days, this time doing eight minutes, some hair removed but left with some stubble. Tried it again two days later, this time for the max of ten minutes, I thought my sac was on fire.
The reason I tried Veet was because I was tired of nicking myself trying to shave with a conventional razor. I think I'm going back to natural, not because I like it but I'm not into pain.

Has anyone tried any of the new "home" laser removal things? I figure, if it's not going to be permanent, maybe I should just buy my own?
