I have my left nipple pierced. It's alittle over a year old now. I love it. I love the look of pierced nipples on a woman, but dont' judge one way or the other. (The only thing I don't like are fake breasts.) As for genital piercings... I think I'll skip that. I don't mind a woman having them. In fact think it would be hellafun. But I don't judge one way or the other.

As for other people, I get mild curiosity to almost physically sickened. My grandfather asked if it turned me on. Which made me laugh.

You said you got your scrotum pierced. Was that at the base? I'm curious as I dated a woman who wanted me to do this, but I'm not into piercing but have always thought that it was cool for those that were brave enough to do it.

My genital piercing is where the shaft of my penis meets the top of my scrotum. It's actually a bit higher than you might think because the skin at the top is thin and my piercer likes to play it safe. Originally, he placed a bar in it to prevent irritation from the rotation of a ring. Since it healed, I have played with a number of pieces in there. Most recently, he made a large, 6 guage ring that can be flipped up and around my shaft to double as a cock ring. That was a pretty cool little invention if I may say so myself

By the way, it was virtually painless. The worst part was the scabbing process which itched like heck!

I always thought it would be cool to have the sac done in the middle but found out that it's not done because you can't puncture it. I guess the next coolest looking place would be at the bottom if possible.

Ok y'all, I got it done...

I got both nipples pierced tonight!!!

It was actually a LOT better than I thought it would be, the guy was superb, and while it has a dull ache now, the bleeding is not too bad and I have them covered.

Ok, so now all you vets, I've been given the typical instructions, any advice on keeping the pain to a dull roar or things I can do to avoid making it worse and help the healing process???

1st off, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

#1 Dont keep them covered, with gauze or what ever it is you've got them covered with. They need air.

#2 Get you some Sea Salt. I found it right next to the table salt in the grocery store. Mix 1/4 tsp. with 8oz. of water (dixie cup is good), form suction with the cup and let them soak in that for about 10 min. the 1st few times. Then after that 5 min. will be plenty. *This helps the healing process as well as keeps them from aching* I had stopped doing it on a regular basis, and my left one got real tender and oozed/crusted a little. Now that I'm back to doing the soaks, once a day, it's just the happiest little piercing. lol

#3 Get you some Provon or Satin Medicated Soap. (I've been using the Provon) It's better than just plain ole Antibacterial Soap. (No perfumes and such) * I use cotton swabs and clean them in the shower after I've washed my hair and body.* For the 1st 2 weeks, clean them twice a day!!! (then right before you go to bed) NO IF'S AND OR BUTS ABOUT IT!!! You'll be glad you did!! Use Paper Towels to dry them.....your bath towel harbors germs.

#4 Keep a bra on, (keep them clean too) even when you sleep. You'll be glad you did. It keeps things from bumping them so easily. I never knew just how much they were touched, in just the everyday routine of things.

#5 Don't let the husband/boyfriend lick on them. You're body will treat his saliva as if it were an infection and cause you soreness/pain. It's because your body doesn't recognize his PH balance, so it tries to fight it.

ALWAYS HAVE CLEAN HANDS WHEN TOUCHING THE PIERCINGS!!!!

Seriously, though, I went out and got some of that sea salt and WOW! My tenderness is down to almost nothing. I have been diligently cleaning night and day with clean hands (I'm starting to think I am slipping into obsessive-compulsive behavior), and things have gone grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat. Although I will say cleaning them in the mornings can be somewhat excruciating at first to get the rings turned...owowowowowowoOW!

However, things seem to be going real well. Of course, Lora's question is how LONG until she CAN touch and do other things to them. She said she feels like a kid in a candy store with no money!!!!

Here's another perspective from the directions offerend by CplNLuvNMs...

I mentioned the Piercing Experience earlier in this thread and their unique healing instructions. I spoke with my internist before my last piercing to inquire about the healing process. He read over PE's instructions and told me they looked similar to standard proceedures for surgical implant recovery which impressed him.

He did say - above and beyond all else:

-- be sure the piercer uses surgically sterile technique and can provide proof of a recent autoclave callibration

-- keep it dry and covered with a tagaderm (allows the wound to breathe

-- keep your hands off

But #5 is still important! Lora needs to keep her hands and tongue away for at least 2 to 3 weeks. After that, she can play and touch if they don't hurt you. Any sign of pain....STOP!

As for what BobandSandy said...... I'm just giving the info I got from my piercer as well as the information I found at www.tribalectic.com. It's a website with information, pics, experiences, chat and forum for those that are pierced. I am a member there and have chatted with some of the piercers, that back up what I've told as "Good Aftercare" for a fresh piercing as well as one that might be giving someone a little trouble.

But I'm sure it's just like anything else......You say Tomatoe and I say Tomato.....kind of thing. lol

I have a frenum piercing (the skin on the bottom of the shaft, below the head)

Heres an interesting tidbit....
When my wife had our child they removed her nipple rings, Well after she healed and was producing breast milk. She was in the shower one day squeezing her breast and the milk shot out of all 3 holes. Ok guys this is my first time in a chat room, but since you mentioned piercings. Guys the PA (Prince Albert) is probably the most painful but, your wife/girlfriend will love you forever. Personally, I have a 2 gage PA, 4 bar jacobs ladder, a nipple ring and will be going back for more.
