My question is, is it a complete turnoff for the other couples if one party has razer bumps in the bikini line area? I have no desire to get waxed there as I ended up with serious nasty bruising from having my legs done once. Just not even going to try that in that sensitive of an area! YIKES! Any one have any sure fire way to prevent it? Other than let the brush grow back I read some website that some folks put a thin layer of deoderant immediately after shaving to prevent razer bumps. That just doesn't sound too appetizing for anyone to go down on after though. I bought the gel that you put on after shaving I think it's called Bikini Zone and I still end up with bumps but not as bad.Help! K & R |

Two main things to do 1) Always use a new or fairly new razer....Preferably triple edge 2) Keep using your bikini zone After awhile the razer burn will stop, she no longer has any problems except for an ocasional ingrown hair (no big deal) John |

After all, a conditioner softens hair. And using Dove deodorant after shaving does help keep the area soft and bump free. And it has a nice smell too. DragonsLair He is T. I am A. ![]() |

I don't know too many people who can shave and not end up with some razor bumps. I do the deodarant thing right after shaving and it works pretty good. If you shave early you can wash it off before playing and then you don't have to worry about someone eating deodarant ![]() Here's the links to a topic where this has come up before: Shaving Question for the Ladies |

Here's what works best for me though: - Coochy shave gel. You can get it at: http://store.yahoo.com/buyinprivate/coocshavexge.html & - A new (change at least once a week), decent quality razor (like Gilette Trac II) I still can't shave more than once a week though - too sensitive - kind of makes shaving for the purposes of playing pointless!). - The Sex Monsters (female half)

After shaving prepare cotton swab of isoprophyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. Quickly dab the shaved area with the iso and then immediately follow with the peroxide. The iso burns a little and the peroxide neutralizes it as soon as it's applied. Works like a charm. Never a bump or an irration.

I guess it's nice to know that other folks have trouble with this too. Of course this is nothing you ever see on any pornos! They are always bump free and that really had me worried that I'd look like a freak or something! Or it would really gross the other party out. Granted, I don't have razer bumps too awfully bad but I do have a few. K |

It's found with the men's shaving lotion. It's specially formulated for black men and works great for sensitive areas. I use a new razor, hot soapy water, shave in the direction of hair growth, not against it, rinse, dry and apply Bump Patrol. On the days after shaving, I use Dove deodrant. Since I have been using this method, I haven't gotten the first bump. Good luck, Teresa

It comes with a Ladyfair shaver for a litttle bit longer ones that get away. After my skin adjusted to the whole erotic shaving trip.....not a single bump!! I love it and so does my husband. It's well worth the $50!! AND, it's so handy for right b4 the party....!!!! Try it and good luck.......C and B |

| Swingers Board Addict Join Date: Dec 2001 Posts: 6,616 Location: Ohio Status: Married Female | I don't have a razor burn problem as I do use a new razor every few days and I also use the Dove *original* deodorant directly afterwards and after each shower inbetween. What I do have a problem with is this. Where the thighs meet with the actual outer vaginal region (ie, the folds/creases) mine seems to grow at an alarming rate and begins to cause irritation within hours. Do most of you women shave that far out or not? Have any of you encountered this problem? If so, what have you tried or done to resolve it? Nothing I have tried has worked so far. Lori
