Hood Piercing and the Gyno

Honestly, I've never even thought about my hood piercing or being shaved. My gyno has never mentioned it and neither have I. We talked about my breast implants, but that's a little different, as it makes a difference for breast exams.

Well my gyno was curious about it . She asked if it hurt, did it help sensation wise, etc. I about pissed my pants ! She was genuinely curious. So I just answered her.

Doctors are people too! They may see things that your normal person would not but they too can be caught off guard.
Case and point:
I have both my nipples pierced. I threw my back out doing some stupid thing or other. I went to my doc and she sent me to her partner a Chiro. I have been to these two for nearly 10 years. He took me in for an exray to check my back. He told me to take my shirt and jewelry off. At the time, he did not know aobut the rings in my nipples. He only knew of my necklace. So, I took off the necklace and shirt. His back was to me as he was puting the film in the machine. When he turned around I pointed to my nipples and said, "You want these out too, Right?"
He instantly got this pained look in his face and said, "Man! If you are coming to me, you HAVE TO BE IN PAIN!!!" I laughed..made my back hurt worse. Called him an asshole and got X-rayed.
So, your experience will not be a bad one. Every doctor, even close friends, will most times, ignore it, ask aobut the healing process, after care etc...or may ask out of curiosity. They will not judge you or think less of you for any ornamentation. They are simply concerned with your health and want to get home to their SO's to do what we all do!
