| Swingers Board Addict Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 115 Location: sydney nsw Status: couple | Maybe its an Australian thing i do remember when i first arrived here there was a lot of negative response to them maybe its the convict stigma they have or it could have been the areas i was living as i have noticed they seem to be more accepted now, in any case my complex was only a fleeting thing and with all the positive responses i don't think its really a issue thanks |

| Awaiting Email Confirmation Join Date: Mar 2007 Posts: 5 Location: bainbridge Status: couple | my wife has one, and i have more than one. actually i tell everybody i have only one tattoo. which turns out to be a back piece. the way i look at it, and this may just be a touchy subject for me. however, just because you have a tattoo doesn't mean anything more than you enjoy them. afterall, what are you going to spend $100, $200 or in my case well over $3000 u.s. dollars on today that you will have 10, 20 or even 50 years from now. just becasue someone has a tattoo doesn't make them an ass, they were an as long before they got the tattoo.some of the sexist women (my girlfriend and wife) have inkwork doen on them. but both have it for dif. reasons. but it does have a meaning to both of them. |

| Rebel without a Cause :P Join Date: Jul 2001 Posts: 438 Location: Colorado Status: Ugly half of a beautiful Wife SLS Name:fountaincouple Blog Entries: 4 | Tatoos are a issue for some because of the old ways they did them, reused needles, some places didn't properly sterilize etc. However, now a days almost all use NEW needles, and for those that looked around and knew what they were shopping for could always find a tatooist that had a hospital grade sterilizer. I myself have 2 and want another, I got my first one at 26 second at 32. I was picky as I KNEW it was forever, If your going to get one you ought to get the one you want and get it where you can see it. The stats I ahve seen say that those who get their first one where it can NOT be seen by them will get a second one with in 6 months in a place where they CAN see it.

I must not be looking in the right places. Neither one of us have any tattoos. We don't have any philosophical objection to tattoos. Nor do we find them ugly or distasteful. We simply don't have any. For me, it comes down to two reasons: 1) I'm really not partial to needles. 2) I don't really have anything "important" enough to say that would warrant going on a tattoo. ![]()
