Hood piercing next Tuesday

Well, I've thought about it for a year now. I've asked every lady I've met with one about it, and read your recommendations here.

I'm going for it on Tuesday! This will be my one and only piercing.

I'm nervous though.

I had mine done a couple weeks ago and although it hurts like hell for about 2 seconds after it was done didnt hurt much at all. Me and my girlfriend got brave ...lol. WE went walking around town for a couple hours after we had it done and neither one of us complained..I love it!! lots of fun during playtime! just be careful the first 2 weeks because it is alittle tender, not painful just tender.

I am not a reputable person BUT I did watch MrsVan's get done twice!

I'll be glad to "take a look at it" and see what I can do...

OK... I understand the humor you are getting at - but WHY TWICE???? THAT is what I would like to know about!!

I want to do it too - I'm just a chicken. But the 'twice' part scares me even more!

Actually I did read in a different thread the reason for 'twice'! Change of jewelery, lost the new jewelery, then it grew back together... so re-pierced. OUCH. I am SUCH a chicken.

OK, I gotta get Amy to read this thread. She almost got it done a few years ago, but chickened out because she was afraid it was going to hurt, and she had read that you couldn't do anything for 6 weeks (she likes her oral )

I would love for her to get one, but I don't want to pressure her on something she just doesn't want to do. She made the statement "I'll get mine done if you get yours done." Hmmm. Well, sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do

Question. We've read that it will de-sensitize the clit over time. Any truth to that?

Of all the women I've talked with who've had it done, the longest recovery I've heard of is 1 month (that was due to an infection). I know 2 women whose husbands did their piercing. Now, that's brave. I'm afraid I would punch Mr. D.

Just let her mull it over for awhile, and encourage her to talk to as many women as possible who've had it done. There's really no better recommendation than from those who have one.

good luck! i have a VCH, love it. not sure if the horizontal piercing would do much for me other than just look pretty? would like to get 2 more...there's a picture on the rings of desire website that shows a VCH with 2 Princess Diana's for a total of 3 piercings on the hood...would eventually like to get the other 2 done...but we will see. lol

we actually tried it out the same night I got pierced (I made him take a shower and use Listerine before I let him near me)...it was a bit sensitive...but not painful...he was just more gentle for a week or so while it healed up. No problems at all.

Well, I didn't do it this week. I wasn't comfortable with the one person here in town that does it. So, I looked at the referral page and am going to drive to Atlanta one day next week.
