Another pubic hair thread and questions

The thread about pubic hair in the fetish section brings up another issue about pubic hair, especially on women. Granted that some people like hairy women and others prefer shaved, would you ever stop play if she didn't keep her pubic area the way you like? Do you discuss pubic hair before you play? If your preference is shaved would you decline an offer from someone that was natural if everything else was clicking?

The reason I bring this up is we met with a new couple yesterday afternoon for drinks and a face-to-face. We really hadn't talked to them online but had mentioned that we would be taking the bike out and would be at xxx bar around 3. Everything was going great. They were both likable, intelligent, and attractive. At one point in the conversation she made the comment that she shaves. can't stand pubic hair, and would never consider playing with someone that wasn't smoothly shaved. Now I usually keep myself waxed with a small landing strip to cover a nasty stretch mark but I haven't been to the spa in about a month so it is actually quite full right now.

I actually prefer my female playmates shaven but it isn't a deal breaker if they aren't.

My hubby likes mine shaved but I find it too itchy (actually, the itch of it nearly drives me to insanity), so I trim mine neatly and shave the bikini line so theres just a little more than a landing strip. I prefer neatly trimmed on our female partners but someone who was natural wouldn't be a deal breaker for either of us. We usually don't bring up the topic, but have been asked before, mainly by single men. (Most of them want to know if I shave it all off, and besides the itch, I really don't get the whole totally shaven thing.) But neither of us would call of play, or demand that someone shaves or trims for us...I would find that insulting if someone told me how to keep my "area". As long as it's clean and fresh....hair or no hair, it's all the same to me.

My husband likes a full bush but two of my lovers prefer it shaved bare. I've been only shaving when I'm with one of them but I've about decided to keep it shaved all the time.

Barry has always loved me clean shaven so I had laser treatments some time ago to remove all of the hair. It hurt like hell. And I was worried some would come back but it has not. I still hit it with the Mach3 to be sure! In any event I love my lady friends to be bald as a cucumber but I am just fine if they're not.

Are there any ladies in their 20s and 30s that go au natural today? That is a curious question. Now, I know that my friend who is 50 was SHOCKED (this is what we talk about when we are supposed to be working lol) and taken aback at the very idea that a woman shaves her pubic hair! She was surprised even at the idea of trimming! I was shocked that she doesn't trim lol! I was like "you don't trim?" lol....its just unheard of! So, I guess there is a generational gap so to speak there. Myself, I'm at a current crossroads. I have let my hair grow out a bit, and I'm thinking I will keep it neatly trimmed vs. shaved. Shaved just doesn't look good on me I think lol.

What the heck is with this American obsession and belief that a woman has to be frickin hairless, anyways lol? Hell, it takes me like 40 minutes just to shave every area I need to shave!!

We have been fortunate - all of our partners have been shaved, males and females. We assume that most people shave or trim. Trimmed is okay, shaved is better - and a full bush might be a deal breaker (gross!).

I think it is generational. I can't think of a single playmate that we have that wasn't shaved, but at Hedo, I've seen full bushes, but mostly on older women (50's and 60's).

Hell, I hate it when I get a stray hair from my head in my mouth, much less pubes. And since oral sex is pretty much a given with us, there ya go. We wouldn't run screaming if someone was not shaved, but it's not our preference.

"Generational" could be a good point. I know when I was growing up, no one shaved their privates. Period. It wasn't until ... oh, I'd say the late 80's that the shaving fad began (at least that I ever noticed).

So essentially, I spent all of my teenage years and most of my adulthood with "the bush". Sure, some trimmed the bikini line, but that was basically it.

My first wife in the mid-80's was European (Austrian) and so you can imagine, she didn't shave AT ALL. For her, was normal and it wasn't so far off of what I grew up with that I couldn't adjust.

Since being in the lifestyle, I have come to enjoy shaved. I'm not gagging on a strand and I have full access to the skin (and what's between it!).

I keep myself trimmed, balls and shaft shaved. It's a bit of maintenance, but I definately like the feel.

We are 25 (F) and 28 (M) and both shave smooth. We are ok with a little fuzz or a landing strip on any playmate (M or F), but truthfully less hair is more appealing. A bush on either M or F would be a deal breaker for us.

It may be generational, but I am not so sure we 100% agree. Yes, partially, but also it just plain feels better. There is NO comparison between having sex (oral or standard insertion type) with clean shaven super smooth genitals (on both M and F) verses fuzzy genitals. Not even close. It is so much more intense with no fuzz!!

Think about it another way. What feels better: a) your partner caressing your breasts or cock over top of your cloths or b) you partner caressing your breasts of cock with no cloths on? (I assume most of you choose b?)

Pubic hair acts as an insulator between skin and skin. And skin is where the nerve endings are! It is an obstruction.

Through my experience (this is M), I have been a 'less is more guy' for a long time. A couple women I was with in college were fuzzy, but havn't been since. I beleive it is a one way street; once you go bald, you never go back...

Question for those with fuzz/bushes: Have you tried bald and think fuzzy/bushy is better?

But then, we are kinda okay with hair since he has a full beard and I don't shave my legs or pits.

In fact, most people are amazed we have a razor in the house (dogs/cats get hurt, need to shave the fur to treat the wound).

I will say I find it annoying that people act like it's not okay to do what we like with our own bodies. No one makes you play with anyone, do they?
And to call us gross.....makes them pretty darn gross IMO!

Consider how few of you would be attracted to someone who said they would play with you but you shave and it makes them think you got a thing for KIDS....That is just as insulting and wrong.

My wife is 60 and has shaved several times in the past, but usually just trims because of the irritation when it's growing out. However, she just left on a cruise with a couple of her girlfriends and she asked me to shave her before she left, in case she gets lucky.

I left just a small patch for decoration, and it's trimmed short. I think it looks the best that way, but I don't really care if her bush is shaved or full, as long as her legs and armpits are shaved. I was stationed in Europe, and discovered that it took a lot of beer for me to get past the local tonsorial customs.

We are in our 40's and both shave competely. Makes him look even bigger and neither gets hair in their teeth this way!

But that is our preference. We play with people that have hair and thats ok too.

my gf was shaved bald when we met. and after some conviencing she now has a short trimmed bush. she looks so hot with it. every woman should have at least some pubic hair.
