I would consider myself a hairy girl naturally and always have been but for quite some time I have had what looks like pubic hair (but not sure cuz the bottom of my legs have really coarse thick hair) but this hair is in the same pattern as my pubic hair but goes all the way down my inner thigh almost to my knees. I dont have a bikini "line" its more of an entire bikini leg. I have been trying to figure this out online before bringing it up with the doctor and have found that hair in weird places on girls can be associated with polycystic ovarian syndrome. I dont have facial hair or more than a normal to slightly high amount of hair anywhere else so could this still be a symptom of that? I am not sure if I am just weird or gross or normal. Please help. any suggestions are appreciated. |

If its just a continuation of your pubic hair, then you were probably right about just being a hairy girl. If you find it embarassing, go for a wax! It's not as painful as it seems when done professionally. However, if you're really worried about it, yes, check it out with a doctor. What harm could it do? If you do have a medical problem, your concerns can help catch it early, and thats always a good thing. |

It could just be hair, in which case try waxing. It's really not as bad as it seems. Or it could be signs of something more serious. Just try talking to your doctor and don't be shy. ~SS
