I tried Instead one time but not while playing. I had heard about it and to see if they worked better. However I didn't like it just for use during my period so I didn't try to take it further and use it during sex.

I suggest you try it for yourself first and see if you are comfortable with it before trying it out with a partner.

I have tried it and Personally its a waste of money, If it doesnt sit Directly on your cervix you end up with a Mess every time even with out sex, I did not try sex just the instead and all I did was move and the damn thing slipped weird and POOF YUCK MESS ALL OVER But Try it for yourself with out sex and see how that works if its good for you try with sex and your S/O see if he can feel it GOOD Luck

We have used them for years without a problem. We keep a box in our travel bag just in case we get a surprise visit and have even used them with playpals without incident.

This brings up a different but related question I have always wanted to ask. What difference does it make to a guy if it is that time? My ex had such a phobia about it he slept in another room. With Mr Xxotic the only change in our sex life is we use a towel to protect the sheets. He has no problem with it even with oral. As a bi fem I can understand not wanting to do oral (I know I wouldn't), I even understand the body fluid exchange with a playpal. But if you are with your wife does it really matter?

My ex-husband was like your ex: wouldn't touch me with a 10-foot pole during that time of the month. But, he wasn't very sexual in the best of conditions, putting it mildly. One of the big reasons we were a mismatch.

I have absolutely no problem with these days with my wife, not even for oral, excepting the first day or so where there are... some solid debris. It is just blood!

However, I dislike the idea of playing with other women during their period just because of the safety issue. Just because it is just blood.

Well, Mrs. W has a subdermal contraceptive, and she's only had one period since about nine months ago (yes, it's normal, and yes, she's ecstatic about it).

Anyway, I've never had any problem with having sex during my SO's period (I just wont do oral), but I'm leery of having sex during a swinging partner's period because of the safety issues, like sereneiders said.

Dog has no trouble with sex or oral while I am on my period. Took me a LONG time to get use to the idea. I finally agreed and i was the most intense orgasm I have ever had...wonder why that is?

I've used the Instead cup for years. There are a few times that I may have a little mess, but I think that's because I have it insterted against the cervix instead of under it. You have to be positioned just right and have a certain type of grip on it for insertion. I think it works like a dream!!

Since Mr. LFM is reading this with me, he says he really can't feel it when it's in use and I can't really remember having a mess when we're done. They're easy to empty and very convenient to have on hand! I love 'em!

I haven't, but I did look into it. Jay and I usually do an alternative thing when aunt flo is here....to be honest though, when im on my period i just don't feel like it. I don't feel clean, and I'm crampy and bloated. A total bitch. So, jay usually steers clear of me for 4 days out of the month, his hand is more friendly.
