Take a hot shower and get the skin softened and then use tweezers to pluck it out. It hurts like hell and often leaves a bump, but it goes away in a few days. Good luck ~SS

I tweeze the ingrown hairs on my bf's pubic area, but he's never had one on the shaft. I dont even want to know how much that will hurt. Hopefully some of the males of the board can give you some better advice, but I just thought I'd throw in my two cents as well. ~SS

| Only slightly cracked... Join Date: Jul 2001 Posts: 7,072 Location: Seattle Status: Married Couple | Yeah, I've had 'em and they're no fun. What I did was start shaving that particular area in a different direction and they eventually went away on their own. I've heard too that you can tweeze them if you can find the hair, but I'd have to get J to do it. I'm not that flexible and my eyesight isn't what it used to be! ![]() -B

He said they were just ingrown hairs. Boy, was I relieved...but felt like I knew that all along. My advice...just use a good new & clean razor.M.D.
