The other thing could try is just getting beard trimmer and keeping the hair trimmed back. Hopefully someone else will have another suggestion.

| Swingers Board Addict Join Date: Jun 2005 Posts: 662 Location: Dallas TX Area Status: Couple | My problem is not the skin irritation, rashes and bumps, though I do get those at times. I normally use Nair, and I have had to find exactly the right length of time to leave it on … long enough to remove all the hair, but not so long as to burn and leave my skin raw and red. I have determined that for me and my skin type, 10 minutes is the absolute longest I can leave it on. It’s the “4-minute” cream that I use, but 4 minutes doesn’t come close to removing all the hair. Now, for my problem … when I do shave, which is not often at all (because of the problem that I am about to iterate), I inevitably will get these huge, painful cysts from ingrown hairs. I have had to have them lanced in the emergency room, and even had to have a couple of them surgically removed. We are talking HUGE … like the size of a golf ball (how sexy is that for swingers???). And they hurt so bad!!! Depending on where it is located between my pubes and my thigh, there have been occasions that I haven’t been able to even walk!!!! I have done searches on this site and on others to no avail on how I can alleviate these things. I hate using Nair, and much prefer the convenience of shaving, but cannot deal with these painful cysts. I have gotten Coochie Cream (sux), I have tried shaving in the direction of hair growth (they still happen AND the shave isn’t as smooth). I haven’t tried waxing because of embarrassment , so I am looking for any help that anyone who also may experience this horrible thing may be able to provide. HELP

| Ready-Willing-Able | I have similar problems when I shave... and now prefer to just trim very close. I use a Remington personal groomer. Whenever I trim, things are very smooth for a day or so. Haven't had any complaints from playmates.

| Here to Stay | I have had similar difficulties as stated above. I found someone who does laser hair removal for a very affordable price. After the first session, I have not had any regrowth.....(this tends to be an unlikely result, most people have to have at least 3 sessions). This could be another alternative for you. There are laser for all skin types now, and most offices providing this service will also offer free consultations. Hope this little bit of info helps. DJ

'cause it hurt like a bitch! ![]() Lately, I've been getting waxed again and it hasn't hurt that bad. Really. The woman who does it asked me to take a hot shower prior to seeing her and then she covers the area to be waxed in corn starch. For the first visit she asked me to trim my hair with an electric razor with the smallest guard on it... I think it was about 1/4". She waxes a small area at a time and the powder protects my skin from getting irritated. Touch-ups aren't bad at all. I go see her about every three weeks. I think my first waxing experience was so horrible because I wasn't trimmed up enough and had too large of an area done at a time.

I, too, have problems with razor burn and sometimes horrible cysts after shaving. I've just found that the more I do it, the better it gets. Also, I have to trim with a beard trimmer first. The longer the hair, the worse the rash. I wish I could find a better solution too because I dread shaving but I can't stand the way it feels to not shave....plus I just feel extra sexy when I know that I have a super soft, smooth pussy waiting for some action ![]() |
