I have never done this, and was wondering if anyone had any pointers. Are men restricted to shaving, or can they wax, or use creams, etc? ( I cringe at the thought of a wax on my jewels, but if it's doable and safe, I'll do anything for the wife). I am trying to find the easiest, least painful way to get this done. I've seen porn where the men are completely shaven and smooth, but I'm not sure how to best accomplish this. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Monte |

Then go out to the store and buy 2 things that are very important. One is shaving creme that is specific to sensitive skin. This is pretty cheap I believe. The razors are the other things you need to buy and they need to have aloe at the top, again for sensitive skin. The razors cost around 6 bucks for 4 but they are well worth it. My wife tried to get me some cheaper ones once, and never will I do that again! The next, probably most important part, is to be very patient. Put some shaving creme on, go VERY slow, and rinse the razor often. Lather back up when you need to and go very very slow. Each time I shave down there (about once every 2 weeks to a month), I take at least a half hour so you won't want to be in a rush when you do embark upon this expedition ![]() |

There is a thread somewhere on shaving and there are all kinds of suggestions of what to use. Someone said to use conditioner, someone said that dancers use neosporin, I use Tea Tree shampoo or soap or shaving cream. Now whatever you decide to try is up to you, the main part I would suggest to you is to use at least a triple blade razor (they make disposables) a little pricy but well worth it. You may even want to try Nair not sure on the pain threshold there but it is an option. You could even ask your wife to give you some input on what to shave with. Women are usually more sensitive than men are so what she uses may work well for you, maybe even have her help you shave and enjoy the whole over all experience. Just a thought. D

Once your skin starts getting used to being shaved, you don't get the rash anymore. Let the rash heal before you shave again. Once your skin is acclimated, it's not usually good to shave more frequently than every other day. I usually shave in the shower. I wash first and the hot water helps soften and prepare the hairs. I use a good gel shaving cream and a triple blade razor. Like disqreet said, don't get in a hurry, and re-lather as often as needed. Sometimes I just use soap instead of gel and have had no problems with it.

I use a Mach III razor and Edge for sensative gel. Recently I tried getting a professional waxing, and I can say it's really much better. In my case it lasted about 6 weeks and was much softer than shaving. The only bad thing is that to wax it has to grow out some. And for those wondering, no it wasn't too teribbly painful. |

| Registered | Hi this is Terry, Marilou's husband. Marilou gets waxed all over and I wouldn't advise a man to wax down below! But there is a razor which has helped me greatly since it has come out... The Gilette Mack 3 Power. Excellent smooth result, nice sensations at the time due to its vibrations, which, as well as raising the hair before the blades get to it, reduce the risk of a cut. Try it out!! And ladies, this is Marilou, waxing leaves you so clean! xxxxMarilou and Terryxxxx |

| Active Member | FYI-On shaving, I don't know how sensitive your skin is, but, being a natural redhead, my skin is pathetically sensitive (Mrs. Xx2, by the way). I can't use creams or get waxed , and even after years of shaving, I still get rashes, just not all the time. One thing I have found that one thing can stop rashes in their tracks-baby diaper rash cream. It is super sensitive, and it is usually unscented. A tiny bit will go a long way, just rub it in carefully. Mr. Xx2 has found this works for him, too, whether he shaves or uses a bikini cream. (I am so jealous he can use the cream-it is so much easier! ) Another thing we use, especially before going out to play, is a honey-flavored/scented powder. I bought it at a fantasy party-it's called Kama Sutra Honey Dust and it also keeps you dry, which is key to avoiding rashes. Hope this helps! This was my first post, but I can totally understand your worries! No one wants to be all bumpy on a play day! Mrs. Xx2 |

The Veet can be messy and is slower than the razor but gives a slightly smoother result. The big plus with Veet is no bumps! CB

| Here to Stay Join Date: Jul 2004 Posts: 22 Location: NY | OK, so I gave it a shot yesterday and I had my up's and downs. First I tried the magic powder, and it didn't do anything for me at all. I'm pretty sure that I did it all wrong or I am expecting way too much from the stuff, but here is what transpired. I mixed up the magic powder exactly as directed and applied it to the hair above the penis (cock just doens't sound right in this context, does it?). Keep in mind I didn't trim or shave anything yet. I sat there for 5 - 7 minutes, removed the magic cream and not one hair came off. At that point I assumed it probably wasn't designed to pull off my straggly multi-inch pubes, so I packed it up as it was getting late. Then I pulled out the scissors, trimmed myself down nice and low and then I took the trimmer portion of my electric razor and went to work. Above the penis was good, around the sides and the inner thighs went well also, but then I got to the balls!! Damn, if I cut myself one more time, I'm sure one of my nuts would have fallen right out of the sack and landed on the floor in front of me. So I got the scissors back out and did a bit more fine tuning and things were looking pretty good. At this point I looked in the mirror and despite the odd feeling and minor itch, I figured I was looking 80% better than before, but I'd like to go 100% for the wife as she alway goes bare for me knowing how much I love it. So with everyone here's blessing (and confirmation that I was expecting too much before) I may give the magic cream another go now that I'm "basically" shaven. Either that, or I may just whip out the Mach3 and do my thing. Thanks in advance for the help so far, and please feel free to make any additional recommendations. I'm very new to this, but I'll be willing to bet that once the wife lays eyes on my freshly shaven self the shaving will will be a more permanent thing so I might as well get used to it now. Oh yeah, and tonight I probably need to tackle the butt area too, so if anyone has any recommendations for that, please feel free. What good is a bare cock, without the ass to match? Monte |

| Active Member | Another FYI-In regards to hair removal for your ass, BE VERY CAREFUL! Of course, being a female with fine hair and sensitive skin, it is VERY SLOW SHAVING! For Mr. Xx2, I usually help, either with the cream or with shaving. Maybe you and the Mrs could make it fun, by doing it together, or doing eachother. (Okay, now, I meant shaving! )Remember, if you shave, you should use some type of lotion or powder to avoid the rash, or the bumps will come up once it gets too hot in your pants! Good luck! And, maybe to avoid the cuts on your balls, you could have the Mrs help with that, too. I've been known to hold Mr. Xx2's balls on more than one occasion! Heeheehee! Good luck! Mrs. Xx2 |

My husband is always clean shaven- though he leaves a patch of trimmed pubes above his penis (which I prefer). He does it every other day in the shower. He has tried shaving his butt several times and it has irritated him so much he couldn't stand walking or sitting. His regrowth would show up the next day (or later that night) and make him an itchy rashy mess. A few hours of clean shaven play isn't worth the days of discomfort you'll go through.

I had it all done as my SO loves it when I'm totally smooth. I've had two different ones do it, and they had extremely different styles. FYI, I have light skin and red hair, so I'm very sensative. In both cases there were some pulls that hurt, but overall it wasn't as bad as you think. The thing is to find someone experienced and highly recommended. Cost runs $60-$80 here, but it sure beats shaving. joshuaspeed, The pros of waxing are that the hair grows back slowly. It doesn't cause red bumps like waxing, and the skin is SO SOFT for a long time. The cons are cost, and finding someone who will do men. For some, the pain is an issue but not everyone thinks its that bad. Depending on how much of exposure you can handle lying nude on the table while someone rips your hair out can also be embarrasing too. |
