Just finished reading the thread about weight:
I know that everyone isn't a perfect size 6, but...

While we only went to one club so far, weight didn't seem to be an issue but HAIR is. I've read the polls and responses, I've posted on another site, and had a very brave seasoned swinger warn us our hair will be an issue with many, many swingers.
I'm bummed that after reading many swinger club sites and swinger info, that all say "bring an open mind", I find very judgemental, closed minds. I don't want the rational or reasons you all hate hairballs. Did it occur to you no one is making you go down there to the hair with your mouth? Hey, play with us with your hands, feet and sex toys. For us, hair is not a determining factor for whether we will play will someone. We've seen lots of profiles where it's written "we are clean shaven, or whatever, and want our play partners to be that way too." Now if you are already that way, great, but we are not going to change our appearance, attitude, etc. for someone else when we're already happy with it. We had one couple say they'd love to play with us if hubby would cut his hair (on top of his head, lol), and we said no way. He likes his long hair, I like his long hair, and no one should have to change themselves to please someone who may only be a temporary part of your life.

Soooo.... while there are couples who prefer no hair down there, there are others who don't mind, or might even be turned on by seeing some hair. When hubby and I met, I was not as hair-free as now (lol), and he didn't think it was horrible. You have to go with what you're comfortable with, and know that there are others with the same personal preferences. And if someone refused to play based solely on that issue, then you have to decide if that's someone you'd even want to play with anyway.

I love finding ladies with hair down there! I also have my hair, both down there and long on my head.

I do not care for "shaved" ladies. That is my personal preference. Laura does not like to shave her hair off either. It is kept trimmed and that is her choice.

Two years ago at a house party a couple of the younger girls conned me into letthing them shave me. Being a good sport I finally gave in and let them. It was the hit of the party. I kept it that way for a month or so and then back to the way I was for all my life. I come with hair, period. If they don't like it they don't have to play with me. Funny part is the only ladies that have ever made negitive comments about the fact that I am not a shaved male is the ones that I was NOT playing with anyway. Just has to be some rude people no matter what your doing I guess.

I have seen many guys get very excited about the fact that Laura is NOT shaved also.

Don't worry about the ones that demand shaved. There is 1000's more that either don't care of love it.

That's pretty much where I stand on it. While we both are almost clean shaven, and we do prefer that others be also, it wouldn't be a show stopper for me. If I found a woman to be hot, I could look past that with no problem.

Personally, I like hair down there, on women and men. I think 'trimmed' leaves the wrong impression. Personally, I trim, but it is basically just shaving my bikini line a bit. Mr. Indy shaves around the base of his penis. (I like it that way) Although, neither MR. Indy or I are very hairy people to begin with. Maybe if we had different hair, we would.

I have seen women that trim, and they have little prickly hairs all around. YUCK! Prickly hair is definately a turn off to me.

I don't mind shaving, but thats not what MR. Indy likes.

Hair down there is natural. Doesn't have to be a forest, can be neatly trimmed. We think that men who shave look unnatural and child-like........just our opinion. Guess it really doesnt matter to us but we prefer to be neatly trimmed.

Thank you all for all the replies. Having been happily married now over 25yrs, being ourselves has worked up to now and we aren't going to try to fix what ain't broke. It is nice to hear it won't be a show stopper for everyone. And anyone who is stopped by it...well...their loss.

Personally I have no desire to play with a woman that does not have hair down there. Bald pussies have too much of a prepubescent look for my taste. I have always associated hair down there with sexual maturity for some reason. Plus, Due to how often women usually have to shave to keep it that way I find there are often too many bumps/razor burn issues/redness for my personal taste. It also lessens the good kind of musky scent people get down there. Not to be confused with scents originating from poor hygiene. Those are two totally different creatures. One is real good and the other is real bad. But do not confuse someone liking hair down there with liking that 70's porno out of control look( when all of the guys dicks had sideburns). Grooming is a must for us.

Hey, that's an idea! We could use "Love the 70's porn" look in ads (I'm serious here....we want people to know what kinda freaks we are).
Although to be honest I think we even have that wild out of control look beat.

We may someday modify it with a bit of a trim now and then but even tho we KNOW it will limit our play, we just can't see changing our ways when they have worked for us in every other area of our lives. We know we are odd and eccentric. Most importantly though, we are HAPPY.

What we understand of the lifestyle is that it is supposed to ADD to already happy lives and relationships. It is not supposed to be a popularity and beauty contest. It is not suppose to put pressure to get plastic surgery, color your hair, shave, or do anything you were not already doing that you were happy with before starting in the lifestyle.

I guess we're the rare ones in this thread. She keeps herself shaved, and I'll shave, and let it grow out for about a month or two, then shave it again. I'd keep it shaved if I had more time, but I'm really busy right now and almost every minute is accounted for.

As for partners, I prefer shaved, but from time to time don't mind everything from a full bush to a landing strip. She said that since we've been together she's now a fan of shaved.
