I tend to need to do it more in the winter months, when the air is drier. Though, I do this each time we're going out as well. It keeps my skin soft and moisturized...and now that they have baby oil with aloe or lavender, it's just plain fun! This is the baby oil routine that works for me: 1) Right when the water is off I rub a few of the extra water down off of my body with my hands, leaving a moist film. (don't use a towel, it will take too much off). 2) While still moist, I massage the oil into my skin. You don't need very much if you are wet...a few squeezes does my entire body. 3) After oiling, I go over my skin one final time...the more you rub the moisture and oil in now, the faster you will dry. 4) Air dry (I usually do my face, apply make-up...but keep my hair up, oil isn't always what my hair needs). ![]() I've never left a ring in the tub, as I'm really not using that much per time, and it's all getting rubbed into my skin. This is what has worked for me...I've found that if I'm not wet enough I have to use more oil...using more oil leaves this sticky feeling to my skin. Rubbing in the oil to wet skin...but not *too* wet (as you'll never dry) leaves you feeling moisturized...and well, kind of sexy. ![]() If this wasn't what you meant, please ignore this post! P.S. I am available for assistance with this if you're ever in the MN area! ![]() | |
