I am recently divorced and entered into a new relationship with a new partner who is in her early thirties and I am in my 50's. During our first sexual encounter I noticed that she was completely shaved. She then introduced me to her friend who was also completely shaved. It really turned me. I was curious how common being completely shaved is for females ? So I asked my partner and she says that at the gym she sees many many women clean shaven of all ages especially the 30 and under gals? Any women want to shed any light on this situation on how common it is in the real world ???

I don't know about the 50 + crowd, but the people I know (in their 30's & 40's) are neatly trimmed or shaved.

Come to think of it, I've never seen anyone with a 'full' bush- ever.

My (male) expierence has been that since the mid 80's most women are shaved or trimmed. After high school I didn't see a full bush until I met my wife 15 years later. Within two weeks of our first sexual encounter she was shaved too and keeps it bare to this day. Since we started going to swing clubs and nude resorts I have seen very few untrimmed ladies. In fact most women I've met in the lifestyle are completely shaved. We played with one couple where the lady was completely unshaved except for her legs. The long silky hair on her bush and under her arms was different and erotic but not something I want every day.
I asked Angel (my wife) about this last night on the way home from the gym. According to her most of the women she sees in the locker room are either completely shaved or have a "landing strip". She can't remember seeing an untrimmed/shaved lady there. She and the girls at work have talked about this and there was only one of the 10 that was natural and she's in her 60's.
My unlearned and uninformed opinion is that most women have very little if any pubic hair. However, after checking out a few of the amature posting sites I have noticed a trend back to hairy over the last year or so.

This brings up a related but seperate question. What do women do about their anal hair? My wife doesn't like to shave there so she get's it waxed every 6-8 weeks. I've seen other women that shaved the front but let that part stay natural.

I am 29 and I have been shaving since I was 16. I know MANY women from 20 to 60 years old that shave or wax. I also know many men who shave and let me just say I think that a shaved man is MUCH more enjoyable for the women! All the people I know that shave/wax say they would never go back to being hairy.
