It really is such a nicer feel than shaving and when the hair does grow back, it's fine and soft, not stubbly like with shaving. I leave a thin landing strip just for aesthetic purposes. I had been totally waxing it all off but decided a few months back to start leaving a landing strip. E

How hard is that to learn how to do by yourself? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to buy? Thanks!

Status: Married Female SLS Name:DGrey | Dino helped me the first few times but now, with the help of a well placed mirror and light, it's a snap. Takes me about 20 minutes each time. The waxing pot was $35 at Sally Beauty and the wax (I use Gigi Brazilian Hard Body Wax) costs $13 a pot and I get 3 waxes out of one pot and a lot of other lip and brow waxes from that as well. One thing I found that helps tremendously is to use the Pre-Epilation oil. A thin layer smoothed into the skin helps the wax adhere to the hair but not your skin. I never would have imagined that oil would make waxing easier. When I got it done professionaly, she used powder. The oil makes a world of difference. E

Lets get off the whole little girl thing. I shave completely, not because I want Dog to look at me like a little girl, but because I LIKE THE FEEL OF NO HAIR!! I feel cleaner, softer, and well more comfortable. I work out ALOT and I find that pubic hair causes me to itch, sweat, and the gross part of sweating hard is the smell. Being a victum of child molestation I have to say that the thought of being treated like a little girl makes me sick. I wonder...How many of you who HAD to comment on the little girl thing enjoy seeing women dressed in the school girl outfits or the cute little baby doll pjs or another favorit, the cheerleader? The little girl thing is all over the sex world and were I find it uncomfortable to be dressing like a school girl, I would never suggest that someone who likes to do it or likes to see their SO do it is fixated on the "preteen" look. So in short, get over the obsession of the "preteen" thing. Believe it or not, it really has nothing to do with it at all. Hairy legs and arm pits is a part of being a grown woman, yet there seems to be no complaints about us shaving our legs and pits. Temper tantrum over. Your friend, Prettylady ![]()

I know it's off the topic of this thread, but like you, I dislike the little school-girl theme (it seems to be a popular theme at lifestyle clubs), or anything else that's supposed to be a child. I'll never participate in those fantasies. I'm pretty openminded and willing in most things, but not that. Hugs, TS

I'm not interested in little girls, I love grown women, nicely groomed grown women. I love to go down on my lady and to me, it is so much nicer when there is no hair in the way and it is soft and smooth... Q |

Why not just say, do what works for you and I'll do what works for me and if it means not playing, then we don't play? I have hair....I'm not dirty. You shave....You are not a child.

| Fun and Pleasure Join Date: Mar 2005 Posts: 854 Location: SouthWest Status: Couple | Keep in mind, no one that I see said you (or anyone who shaves) are a child either....they just said the look reminds them of how a child looks. Just as you didn't actually say anyone with hair is dirty. But it sure is easy to word things in ways that can be offensive at times. Even when no one means to. Believe it or not, our first club, one couple told us that not shaving would mean almost no one would ever play with us. We had to learn to shave or just expect lots and lots of rejection. They were wrong. Some rejections, sure but lots? Nope. There are hair lovers who seek us out. (I go beyond not shaving my pussy...I don't shave anywhere). So don't let anyone tell you what you have to do to be in the Lifestyle. Do what works for you. S

| insert witty banter here | I love the totally smooth look, and prefer waxing. Mr. Fun prefers it too. Everyone is into different things for different reasons. We met a couple one time ... the female was bi. She didn't like the fact that I was totally bald ... she had a landing strip. She thought it was weird. Her husband even commented to me later about that. I don't know why -- like PL, she may have had some sort of terrible thing happen to her as a girl or very young woman. I just dig the totally smooth feel and look. And I feel SO sexy with all the hair gone. DGrey -- thanks for the oil suggestion. I'm due for a wax, and find the powder somewhat worthless. I'll pick up some of the oil before the deed. |
