This bulletin board has a club-review forum but it appears the club owner needs to enter information about the club before any reviews can be posted. So we thought we would make a club review the subject of our first "blog".
During our recent visit to Lexington, Kentucky, we visited the Bluegrass Connections. Every club seems to have its unique character but this one fits us nicely. On top of our list of appreciated features, the music they play is held to a level that actually allows people to talk to each other. The overall arrangement of the place seems to geared toward the idea of getting to know people. This is not an on-site club (if we understanding the definitions of on-site/off-site, this means that no rooms or beds are provided for sex). Mild kanoodling out in the bar and dance floor areas is allowed and was delightfully evident. Tables and the bar are arranged to allow mingling. The club owner and the club employees recognized us a new, welcomed us warmly and inquired about or comfort. Now that I think of it, it's not really a club in a strict sense as there is no membership requirement or membership fee. There is only an entry charge for the evening. And it is very reasonable, as are the prices of the bar drinks. Wish they had one like this near us.
