Contact Cards

We're going to a party New Year's Eve and we've never met anyone there. I wanted to have a few Contact Cards to help folks remember our SLS profile. Walmart prints 4" x 6" photos for $0.19 each. I could make the cards 2" x 3" and get 4 cards per print - they'd be "photo quality" and close to the size of a standard business card. I printed out 5 copies today and noticed what my image manipulation program (Ulead) calls 4x6 is not the same as Walmart's machine. I revised the image to include a boarder around each card as a quick way to manage the mismatch. I haven't tried a second print session yet.

| |  I think SLS actually has some templates you can download for Microsoft Word that would let you just print these at home on your own printer. |

| |  Pretty neat idea. A few months ago I ordered a trial pack of MooCards. They make assorted little cards, stickers, etc. The ones I got were the mini cards, I think they measured 1x3" or something like that...but on the back it had printed a picture/icon...a space for email and url addresses...and on the other side of the card you could put whatever text you wanted. They are printed on pretty sturdy card stock and the colors are fabulous. Here's their link for a little something different: www.moo.com |

| |  The last LS party we went to...there were quite a few couples handing out business cards with their screen name(s) on them. I thought that was a great idea!! I like your cards. They're very well done and I happen to love the default picture on them!! Good luck! |

| |  Cards....SLS has preformatted cards that you can use with Avery 8879 card stock. If you go to tools and then at the bottom on the right hand side you will see Meeting Cards - click there and you can design the type you want. We had already designed our own in word using Avery card stock.  |
