Going on a date tonight...

Dave and I have been talking to a couple who we're meeting tonight. Hopefully, it will be a good meeting. 
We're going to meet for dinner and drinks. Talk a little. Maybe it will lead to more, maybe not. The last date we went on, the male of the other couple talked politics and history ALL night long. We can't even remember their names. It was obvious that we didn't quite connect by the time dinner and drinks were over. It was their first date ever and I think he was soooooooo nervous that he couldn't quite talk about anything else. In fact, it was a relief to leave.
We like date nights. I guess I like the anticipation as well. I get a little nervous, and Dave's as cool as a cucumber. It's a chance for everyone to get to know each other. They're few and far between but they're fun. With my schedule and Dave's schedule, they're hit and miss, but I love the time out, love meeting new people, putting on my Sunday best and going out and having fun.

| |  Everything went really well...They were VERY nice people. They were hispanic and their english was kinda broken. That on top of the loud atmosphere, it was hard to understand what they were saying, but we did laugh a lot and had a great time. We're planning on meeting up sometime again soon. EDA... Nothing juicy happened. Maybe (hopefully) next time we meet up! |
