Our Bi-annual party...

was such a total bust. 
There was a change of venue so it wasn't held at the regular hotel that we used to use. I'm not sure why the change, but it's a moot point now, anyway.
We have many friends that were there, and it's always great to get to see them and party with them again. We always go with NO expectations and we're certainly glad we do. There were so many people that emailed us asking if we were going to be there so we could meet up for drinks and see what happened from there, but that didn't happen either. The room was so small and there were approx. 500 people there in the lounge of the hotel. They might have been there, but you wouldn't be able to tell. The room wasn't that big. It was so crowded, you couldn't mingle. Kind of sad, actually. I'm sure we broke some kind of fire code. 
Dave said if they're holding the party in Sept. at the same hotel, we're not going. He's very adamant about that. I'll have to agree. Nothing like paying $30 and standing like sardines in a can.

 |  Wow thats a bummer, We do know how ya feel though. Our last hotel party was so crowded also. We met a couple within the first 30 min. From there we just grabbed our coats and headed home.... with them. We made the best of it ya might say  . |
