Hotel party was a dud

We had been chatting with a couple from about 30 miles a way for a while. They used to run a hotel party in North Alabama, and were planning on getting one up in the area. After some discussion between ourselves, we decided we would attend, hoping it didn't turn out like the one social we went to.
The event was planned as a meet and greet at a local bar and grill, then, the ones that wanted to, could go to the motel for a night of playing. We ate at another couple's house that we had met on Swing Lifestyle, but had never played with. We arrived at the bar and grill to find out that the reservations the group had were not like they said they would be, so instead of having tables grouped together, some had to sit away from the rest of us, Strike one....

After we socialized as much as possible with the seating like it was, it was then time to go to the motel. Two or three of the couples left, we never saw them again. The motel was about a five minute drive, no big deal. The rooms, however were small, but connected. One had a king size bed, the other, two full size. Not a lot of room for ten couples. Strike two...

We sat around and socialized some more, some in one room, others in the other. One couple had brought a sybian, which turned out to be the only action at this party. Several of the ladies got naked and rode it, D got up the courage and tried it. She liked it, but the dong on it was too big for her and she said it was uncomfortable. We then went back into the other room, the one with the two beds. We were talking to another couple that were as interested in us as we were them. D was still naked, and the female of the host couple came in naked and lay down on her stomach beside me and D. Nobody was fucking, sucking, or even feeling anybody up. We were both a little nervous still, we'd only had two good encounters then. We were waiting for somebody to break the ice, and then we would follow their lead. Then a couple came in late. They weren't at the meet and greet, and if they had of been, we wouldn't have went to the motel. We had chatted with them before on Swing Lifestyle, and something about them gave us a bad feeling. You know the feeling, just don't know what it is, just that feeling that you need to stay away. The male had long dirty hair, and his fingernails looked like he had a ton of grease under them. The female acted strange, like she was his slave, and did everything that he told her to do, and he was mean to her. They had the nerve to bring in a pizza and eat it and not offer anybody any, not that anybody would have taken it ,anyway. Then while we were sitting there talking to the other couple, remember D is still naked and has her back to the creep, the creep has the nerve to reach up and rub her back with a vibrating glove. Scared the shit outta her! Strike three.....We're outta here!

A few minutes later, D put her dress back on, we exchanged e mail addys with the couple we were talking with, and told the host that we had to leave, it was already 11 PM and I had to get up early and go to work the next day { I really did, but we had planned to stay to at least midnight}.
We talked to the couple that we had ate with a few days later, and they told us that nobody ever did anything that night. The one couple spoiled it for everybody. A few months later however, we did get to play with the host and hostess, and it went pretty good, except for his pushiness, but that's another story!

The party is about the people. Some parties are better than others based on who is attending that party. If you wait for someone to break the ice then everyone else may be doing the same thing.

It's hard to avoid "certain" people at a small party like the one you had.

Maybe they need a little better planning and preparation for hosting a party.

Sounds like a very weird night and I can relate to the 'creepy guy' you mentioned as we also have been contacted by someone very similar on Swing Lifestyle. I think if we were at a party and they walked in it would be time to leave.

Yeah, parties, resorts, etc, can be hit or miss depending on the crowd. Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands. At the restaurant, we would have figured out a way to get the group together. A restaurant will not turn away a huge party like that. Same with the hotel. Get everyone together in the same room. Strike up a game or something. Ultimately, sounds like you made the right call. Hopefully your next party will be better.
