I live in the middle of the FL Panhandle Bible Belt so imagine my surprise when a couple out of Swing Lifestyle contact me locally wanting a single man to join them for a mfm. Her picture of course was posted as a lure. A sexy curvy young redhead. I drive the 5 miles...find the place.

She is there, so is he, dressed up in female lingerie. Crossdresser ? not quite, more like preop ts looking for someone to fillin for him while he fills me in. The experience, late at night, was rather uninspiring, the misleading info a spoiler,
the non stop smoking sickening. Nice try....kinda gives the scene up here a bad name.

Ugh! What a disappointment! I guess it gives you a new list of "weed out" questions to ask in phone calls. BTW, the fake pictures and personalities are one of the reasons that we only meet people through the local clubs or a private party invitation from people we know.

People being deceptive and deceitful is a major deal breaker for my wife and I. If the person is a pre-op TS and expects to express themselves in that way in the bedroom during swing play, fine...but be up front about it. It's not my cup of tea, but I'm sure there's people out there to satisfy that person's desires.

Don't judge the pan handle scene by one experience. You wouldn't judge all restaurants in a town by eating at just one of them.

Totally agree with BB's last statement. Don't let one scene define what the lifestyle is. I think we'll all agree that the good experiences far outnumber the bad ones. Unfortunate things do happen in the lifestyle...but that's life.

As for us, we do tend to only meet people through sites like Swing Lifestyle, but we take our time. Emails, pic trades (g rated only), phone calls if they want...followed by a meeting in a very public place like a restaurant or bar if we get a good vibe. Sure, we've had meetings that have ended a dinner but ultimately, we've been very happy with our experiences. Of course, some don't like our "drawn out" way of meeting, but that is what works for us and that is what we'll stick with.

I can appreciate your comments....though you are all couples making the swinging scene much easier. Thogu I am contacted by couples occasionally on Swing Lifestyle and do reply , theydont folow through. In this single male position, the scene is hard to experience as a positive one.

I hear what you're saying, Hydrocone. In my area there are clubs that admit single men on Friday nights. Do you have any of those in your area? The key to being "attractive" to couples is quiet confidence when you're in the club. Good luck

In my opinion, it seems like if the male half of the couple is doing the contacting it usually ends up deceitful. I have only had a couple of experiences with couples from Swing Lifestyle (want more) but to get those experiences I have had to weed out a lot of garbage. But I doubt it is much different from any dating site. The people I have met have made it all worth while.
