I don't think it's a character issue. You can judge character and not be able to judge the shape of a penis without seeing it. As many stereotypes as exist there is NO WAY you are ever going to know what a penis looks like until you see it. I think based on what you guys have experienced I would add a required penis picture as part of the interview process.

One other point, never be scared to say no or "this just isn't working for us". It may be awkward especially in a situation where you can't just up and leave but it will be a lot less awkward than looking back with regret.
