The unexpected addition of "Capitol Cookies" (A great bit of lagniappe considering our fondness for things sweet to eat!) I have looked at some of the recipes in both books & they are fantastic. I will have to start trying them, as I love heating up things to eat! I also would like to think Julie for doing this for us. sensualtouch (formerly phytness) ![]()

Anybody else in Texas who did a pre-order receive theirs yet? Are these arriving in a plain brown paper wrapper like the t-shirts did? I was just thinking - - maybe the whole crew in the post office is having a grand time reading this before they decide to let go of them and deliver them. EBF has not received hers either - and both of us go rushing out every day when we know the mail is here to check for ours. [I'm thinking maybe EBF's dogs may have done hers in - - I'll bet they still remember having to take pepto when she let them taste Mr. Pot Roast] Still waiting in Texas - - with breathless anticipation. ![]() |

I found the "plain brown wrapper" in the recycle bin. Had to search for the cookbooks. I found them and are they ever cool! Other than Mrs. Alura getting credit for one of my receipes, they couldn't be better. Great job, Julie! Now, what couple should we give the extra copy to for an anniversary present? (evil grin HeeHee) Mr. Alura |

The cookbook jolted me into thinking about a community of friends. I got the cookbooks the other day! I am quite impressed. I read many of the recipes before going to print, so, I already had the opportunity to see the truly outstanding cuisine early on. I was also impressed by the variety. Above all, I am still astounded by the quality of the presentation. Well done Julie. It is first rate!Who'd a thunk? From the casual musing of our own sweet Jen to an idea that took shape in Julie's mind, in the mail came a monument to all that contributed.

So what are they? They are actual cookbooks filled with recipes submitted by the users of the Swingers Board, in their own personal style. Included are a lot of really great recipes to pull out when you are entertaining swinging friends in large groups or small. Anyone else want to add their own description of just what the Swingers Board cookbook is? |

The birth of the Swingers Board Cookbook can be found in this thread in What's For Dinner Tonight? The idea was suggested by Jen - kind of jokingly - and from there, like with many ideas, it grew wings. Before we knew it, we were seriously in the cookbook planning stage. Along the way, we had great amounts of fun teasing and picking at each other. And the funny thing is...it turned out GREAT! Although MY name was spelled wrong...(I've just been waiting for an opportunity to say that!) Anyway...take a look at the thread - especially the last few pages. You'll easily see how much fun we had and how much fun can be had with a simple idea. Maybe you'll have an idea and we can start a new project. (as Julie say, "yeah....right.....) - EBF ![]() | |
