Oh, wanted to add. You Can pre-order more than one at a time. Once you click the button to order it will take you to your "shopping cart" and you can change the number ordered to as many as you want.

I hardly think I'll be ordering any for the little tykes for next years christmas presents! I'm gonna have a hard enough time hiding this one!

For those of you who have never used Paypal before (I hadn't) it is really simple to do. I'm not sure but I think once you do, you don't have to input all the info again, when ordering something in the future.

This cookbook idea ROCKS!

PS: Another question for you Julie. If you only order 'x' amount to fulfill orders and then a handull or so for the new people that decided to order, if you surpass your supply, can you order more?

Well I figured that some of you might want to order more to give to your swinging friends

And yes, if demand is higher than the initial order I can always get more... and I'm hoping to have to do that.

Regarding Paypal you are correct. If you don't already have a Paypal account you'll have to fill in all your info (just as you would buying from any store on the web) but if you already have a paypal account then all you do is enter your username/pw and you are done.

I clicked on the pre-order link & I was brought to the store to buy the cookbook, cept when I got there the quantity was too high, so I changed it to the number I needed, cept the dollar amount didn't change.

So I figured it must just need resetting somehow, so I x'd out and re-entered via click, and the quantity had gone up by one instead of down by three....

Well, being a slow learner, I tried the x out and re-enter trick a few more times, and it is now up to 7 books at $70.00.

I dunno, I want to buy two books. Will the price adjust when I have completed the paypal forms and am clicking the final purchase click, or will I end up with two books that cost $70.00?

I don't want completely fill out the info and be ready to check out to find my purchase total is inaccurate and then have to start over later. Pout

I think that what's happening is that each time you close the browser and go back to the store page and try to purchase it's adding another. The shopping cart uses cookies to remember your order so even when you x out and come back your order is still there.

Return to your shopping cart page and change the number to the number that you want then be sure to click the "update cart" button. Once you've updated it to the number you actually want then click the "checkout" button. Double check to make sure that the amount listed on the following page corresponds to the number that you actually wanted to order and if so either enter your paypal info (if you already have a paypal membership) OR follow the instructions to set up your paypal account.

Just wanted to remind you guys about the pre-order option on the cookbooks. I'd highly suggest it especially for those submitting recipes... cuz you know YOU are going to buy at least one anyway.

Plus I'm paying the shipping (how nice am I?) on the pre-ordered cookbooks just to get you to pre-order them.

Pre-orders really help me out in multiple ways... like knowing how many people are seriously interested in this project and helping to offset the initial production costs.

About 7. So far about half of those who have submitted their own recipes have pre-ordered at least one book.
