This Rocks!

Say, Jen...this is Julie's book and she calls the shots, but I don't see a problem with the submission of more than one recipe. Particularly one for different "categories." - main courses, appetizers, drinks, salads, desserts, etc. I've seen lots of cookbooks like that and particularly when the book originates with a smaller group. That's what I plan to do.

Drinks: water with lemon or lime.
Appetizer: boiled eggs cut in half.
Salad: head of lettuce, cut in quarters.
Main course: whatever I ordered from Dominos
Dessert: bowl of candy from Sam's.

All served with perfect: Ambiance! (hmmmmm....this is where I might be able to excel)

Well! There are my recipes. -EBF

I think this would go under "Complete Dinners" LOL

And yes, please submit as many recipes as you'd like.

I just realized I didn't mention this earlier. If you submit a recipe and would like your email listed with it, please let me know. Otherwise I won't put it in.

Default Good Question

I'm glad you asked, Annette. I had wondered too.

And while I'm here...one of the things that crossed my mind when thinking about this was that it might be a way to introduce husbands, wives, and potential partners to the idea of swinging.

For example, a man that might want to "gently suggest" the idea to his wife could purchase the book and bring it home to his wife maybe with some comment about some goofy person in the office selling them. Or even...."hey, hon...today at work they were talking about some kind of Swingersboard Cookbook on some website. Let's try to find it." And that could also work for the wife wanting to make the subtle suggestion to her husband.

Or, as someone posted today, he thought a neighbor might be interested. What better way to find out than to leave the cookbook out on the kitchen counter when said neighbor came over to visit?

In either case, if the response was less than positive, it could always be passed off as "those goofy people at work," etc.

Just thoughts....EBF

Arrow Another Idea

Julie, I was thinking again...what about one of those "foreword" sections for the beginning of our cookbook?

"This cookbook came about as a suggestion...." - a little history of the origin. Maybe even a transcript type of thing of the original posts that led to the idea?

Just a thought. - EBF

For now we'll set the deadline at Sept. 15. It may get pushed back depending on the number of submissions we get. Obviously, without enough submission to make a book, there will be no book.

There are people all over the world who eat.

They need help. This is serious business. As good hearts, we all have to ban together and supply the world with our great tasting good fixins.

We can't exactly be there to do the preparing for everyone -- so we owe it to the world to make our recipes available !!

The lives of hungry people are counting on your efforts.

Please act responsibly and submit your recipes to Julie as soon as possible.

Show the world that swingers care! Send in your recipes now!

Default dang it anyway

Don't give up on us Julie...

Some of us must be the procrastinating kind. Thats ok though, you've given us till Sept. 15th. We have time to procrastinate and also...supply you with our very best yummies.

There may also be some who are busy picking out the best of the best from their personal favorites...and still others who are working feverishly toward that comical approach to recipe writing... I gotta tell ya... comical recipes ain't easy.

Ok so all the procrastinators and preparers and eaters...get busy...share your recipes!!

Please
