You will find answers to the most frequently asked questions here. If you are new to the board, it is highly advised that you take the time to read this section prior to posting.

If you are not new to the board, take a moment and look at this list and let me know if there is a question that should be added - For a question to be added to this section, the question should be fairly general and common, and the answer should be succinct.

There's actually a link to the FAQ on the top menu - although it's apparent from posts and the emails/PMs I get that people don't read them.

It's also apparent that people don't read the threads that are stickied at the top of the forums either, so I don't know that making one more sticky will help. I'm just hoping that for the time it sits on the front page, it might do some good.

Julie, the only minor thing I would consider is adding the comment If you are married and looking to cheat on your partner then you are not looking to swing that is listed in the Is swinging just for couples? section to the I'm a single male, how can I get involved in the lifestyle? section as well.

I think you've done a great job with the FAQ, and it should be the first stop for new board members and newbies to swinging.

BTW, PLEASE do not take the fact that this FAQ exists and use it as a way to reply to the newbies. "Read the FAQ" is not a stand alone reply on this site. While new users SHOULD read it (and are directed to do so in their welcoming PM), they aren't all going to do it and every question posted here should be treated with the same respect as any other question - even if that means going to the FAQ and copying and pasting the answer provided there if you think it fits exactly.

I've seen a lot of posts lately where people are replying to new threads with nothing more than a list of links to other threads with questions similar to the posters, that's not a worthwhile response on its own. If you are going to bother replying at all then take the time to actually reply. If you addendum your reply with a few links to other similar threads, that's totally cool, but not links on their own.
