Lurkers!! What is keeping you from joining in?

I'm still trying to better choose my responses to various threads in order to keep from offending any of the other members of the board.
The only problem I am now having is that by the time I can make an informed response, the issue may no longer be of importance to others.

The issue is always still important. Just because a thread may have dropped from the top of the most recent threads or hasn't had a post in a few days or a few weeks doesn't mean it's not still important. It's never too late to share your opinion.

Simply been away and had to reset our password.. We enjoy all the posts and at times have but nothing to contribute to further the discussion on views or points already covered that seem no need to not be reiterated.

We have been lurking around for the better part of six months now. I think the one thing that is keeping us form posting more is that we haven't actually had our first swinging experience yet.

We have been tossing the idea (of swinging) around since last fall, and are only now getting to the point where we are seriously considering going to out first club sometime this summer.

We just don't have too much to contribute at the moment...but we are trying.

I am basicly just a voyeur. I have never been a participant in the lifestyle and at age 68 it seems a little too late to start. In addition, my wife is very inhibited sexually and would never agree to oarticipate. Since I have no experience to draw from, I feel I would havenothing to add to the discussions in the forums.
I do enjoy browsing the site, reading forums, opinions and stories, and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work.

Hi, all!

I'm a lurker because although I totally approve of swinging, have a major sympathetic interest in "the lifestyle", and would like to *be* a swinger, I have two major impediments to joining the community, and so don't feel "eligible" to participate actively in most forums here. My two major impediments are: I'll be 80 years old in July, and I have erectile dysfunction. For my age, I'm very healthy; and if I do say so myself, I'm pretty good looking for my age. But I see ED as a really *major* impediment, and ED medications don't seem to help. Even so, I still greatly enjoy "non-penetrative" activities, both as active and receptive partner.

I am fortunate enough to be affiliated with a community (not the swinging community) in which there are occasional opportunities to enjoy responsible "non-private" recreational sex with friends; so I'm not a stranger to "swinger type" activities.

I'm just coming out of a relationship with a lady with whom I was totally compatible sexually--except that she required total monogamy, which I am unwilling to commit to. (She is 81 years old, and multiorgasmic!)
