Would there be a way of being able to see the record of who we gave a rating to and what post it was?

I haven't been allowed to give ratings a number of times because I came back to that member before I'd given 10 other members a rating. If I could keep an eye on my ratings to members, I'd have a better sense of my rating time frame, so to speak.

My concern is that when I can't give that person a thumbs up on a post that I found particularly good, I'll forget where it was by the time I'm allowed to give them a rating...it could be months before I'm allowed, and hoping they'd post again, or even another post as well-written as the one I really liked, might never happen again, especially from those members who post infrequently.

I don't see any thumbs up or thumbs down buttons. And I have no idea what a User CP is or where to look for that.

I'm embarrassed to call myself a geek.

Click on the scale that is on the bottom left of all posts. Once you click it brings up a window that has thumbs up or thumbs down and you can leave a message that only the poster can see.

Your "User CP" is on the top part of every page once you are logged in. Right under the "forums FAQ" link on the page.

The scale is on the lower left as we see all posts. The little white scales. Each post you can give a good rating or a poor rating.

If its a good one you don't have to give a comment, but it helps. People can see the last 5 ratings they have received in their user CP(Control Panel) at the very bottom of the CP page.

With a bad rating you must give a reason.

We just gave you a good rating because this is a good question.

We had to ask Julie twice how it works

It should now be easier to know when you have been given reputation.

1. The latest 5 reputation comments that have been left for you can be viewed in your User CP.
2. When someone leaves rep on one of your posts you should not also get a PM letting you know.

I would think that everyone here would be aspiring to "Red dots"... this is, after all a swinger board. .. and to aspire to shameless behavior should be paramount, no?

We do love shameless behaviour around here... but I think that's a different type of shameless behaviour. Luckily, there aren't too many people who have landed themselves in red dot land.
