Board Closed For Upgrades This Weekend

The Swingers Board will be down this weekend starting on Friday afternoon, August 31 . Some portions of the site will be available in Read Only mode, however no posting or additions will be allowed throughout the weekend. And there may be times when the entire site is not accessible. The site will be back up and operating normally no later than Monday afternoon.

I think every member should plan to have a weekend where they get to put into practice all that they've learned here... It'll be like home work!

yep, we have a full weekend on our hands also. and practice makes at least better

hope everything works out great julie, cant wait to check in monday eve. although, i cant imagine morning coffee without checkin the board

Typically weekends are quieter here... I hadn't intended for this to fall on a holiday weekend, but it did and once they finally said they were going to do the upgrades I wasn't about to be the one responsible for delaying them.

I'm sorry I deprived everyone of the board for 3 days for nothing. I'm not really sure what happened. they told me it would be done, but when I checked on Sunday nothing had happened. I called and was told that they were working on it. Then this morning, still nothing so I called again... and again... and again... until someone finally called me back to finally tell me that for whatever reasons the programmers weren't doing it. Of course, by that time I was already on the highway, so to get the site back open as soon as we could, we pulled over at a local coffee shop with free Wi-Fi to turn everything back on.

My apologies. If anyone knows a good PHP programmer, please refer them my way.
