Swingers Board RSS Feed

You can get the latest posts via RSS.

Use this URL : http://www.swingersboard.com/forums/external.php

To add the latest posts to your favorite RSS feed reader, including adding it to your Yahoo 360 profile or My Yahoo page (you can add it to My Yahoo automatically by using the link at the bottom of the page).

If you use LiveJournal you can also add the feed so that it shows up as part of your friendss list so you can see the new posts as you read your friends page. Add Swingers-Board as a friend on LJ.

I wonder Julie, for those of us that use firefox, is it possible to make SB RSS a extention for Firefox? I know there are a lot of other RSS feeds that can go into Firefox, is this one of them

I have no clue what you just asked me to do. I know what firefox is but I have no clue what is different about RSS feeds in firefox vs any other RSS feed.

Well shoot. The RSS feed doesn't work with IE7.

Seems to work with Safari tho!

I am basically a non-tech computer user. I know more than some but less than almost everyone!! I don't understand what RSS Feed is. Can someone, in a very non-technical layman's language, explain what is being said in this thread?? What happens if we add this RSS (whatever that is) to our 'My Yahoo'??

RSS = Really Simple Syndication. It's a way to quickly look over your favorite blogs or forums without having to log onto the specific page. It gives a summary of the newest entries in whatever RSS reader you are using. Firefox can add it to the bookmarks as well I understand the new IE7 does, too. There you can glance at the titles and click on any you want to read, just like a bookmarked link. You can also access them through many email clients like Thunderbird, Eudora and more. Yahoo! 360 and MyYahoo page also has RSS feeds so you can browse it from there.
