Any one is welcome to go to Brad's Place to discuss politics. The fact that you are referred to such a place proves that those here, including Julie, don't ignore it. It just causes problems on any site that isn't stickly a political site. You'll find many from this site commenting over on Brad's Place.

Brad's Place was actually started by a member of this site - BradandJanet - following the original decision to remove politics from this site. It provides a place where folks can discuss politics with their friends here and others.

I'm going to bump this thread EVERY time someone posts a political comment... and also when that happens your political comment WILL be removed (at the very least your post will be edited) AND you will be given an infraction. The infraction is there to serve as a reminder to you not to do it again, as well as a reminder to myself and the mod staff that you have done it before. Please don't make it a recurring problem, I don't like to ban people.

Politics & religion are two things I *hate* talking about in casual conversation - it just tends to make things "not quite so casual"

I for one am glad to see the no politics rule here. It really keeps things friendly when it's left out. Some of the other hobbies (there are other things besides sex) I am involved in have forums and political discussions have almost ruined the forums. Keep it light, keep it friendly and have fun!

Just bumping this reminder. Please keep in mind there is a zero tolerance policy for politics. If you post a political comment/post it will be removed and you will be given an infraction. If this occurs don't get pissed, you have been warned.

3 Infractions will result in being removed from the site. I wouldn't think that anyone would ever get more than one.

I could not agree more with the policy. We have had a swing party or two pretty much ruined because of someone feeling they needed to impart their political leanings on everyone else. We try to keep our views to ourself in social situations because a political comment can be more incediary than a bic lighter.

Anyone that's tried to mix sex and politics never did very well. That's just a fact. They're both fun to talk about, but not at the same time, and if I am forced to make a choice between pussy and politics, it's not a choice at all.
I'm turning off c-span and logging on to the swingers board. I have my priorities straight:~)

And just wanted to say... I really appreciate the no-politics ban on this board. When I pop into SwingerzoneCentral and see what people have to say there on political subjects, my mind reels... and then I come back to the safety of Swingersboard. Phew.
