I am not sure if you mean, what type of club, or what to do when you get there. If it is what type of club then just call them and make sure it is not one of the big city clubs that cater to young couples. Rural clubs (which most clubs are), cater to an average age group in the upper 30's to mid 40's..so you will find 20 year olds as well as 70 year olds. Every night is different at most swinging clubs. Watch the theme if they have themes. If the theme is hookers n pimps then its gonna be mainly younger members. If the theme for the night is say, keys n locks, then you may find a good mixture. The best thing to do is contact the owners and talk to them. If and when you find a club you are comfy with then become regulars and you will be surprised at the amount of people that have been swinging for 30 years or more. Or couples that wanna swing that aren't young. Hope that helped. john |

We are older couple (60's) in central Illinois. The wife is not sure of any get togethers now. We are defintely not allnighters anymore. Curious as to other couples in this area? Thanks |

Welcome to the board! I take it from your post that you guys have swung in the past and are considering it again? Or just not sure you want to continue? Hang around, you aren't alone, there are other older couples and even some of us younger ones who just can't "hang" like we used to. You know you are getting older when you say you are going to stay up all night and end up wanting to climb in bed at 2am. Oh for the days when I could stay up all night and go to work the next day without feeling the pain. |

Who said: "I used to do it all night; now it takes me all night to do it!" ? Grocho Marx, maybe? I didn't understand it at the time. Now I do... ![]() Mr. Alura |
