The cost is relative to the level of interaction chosen by the player. Would you like to see this handled differently in the new version? And, if so, how? I've listed some possibilities; if you have other ideas, post them and we'll add them to the poll. |

| Active Member Join Date: Mar 2003 Posts: 32 Location: Yet Another Ohio Couple (SW) Status: Married Couple | Well, as I started the above poll, guess it’s up to me to answer. The game we’re talking about can’t be found, as it only exists on my computer. The DW and I have written five adult computer games; I asked the question as we’d begun rewriting one of them into a multi-person game, rather than just for couples. Then, she went back to work full-time, and my employer had the nerve to buy another company down in Mississippi to which I have to frequently travel. So while it’s about 60% written, it’s only advancing in small steps until we get some more time. Anyone want to loan or sell us a few hours? Seriously, I often think the games are as much fun to create as to play. Especially “testing” them. Hopefully this one (as well as a few others in various stages of development) will get completed while we’re still young enough to enjoy them (in other words, less than ninety years old). At that point, we’ll be sure to ask for some “volunteers” here to help with testing. Oh . . . you can find the original thread describing the game at PC Swinger Game: Want to Help Develop a New Computer Game?. |

| mildly abnormal | I think the issue is that sometimes things come up that you find you don't want to do. You may not have even known before the game that you wouldn't want to do it but lo and behold there's the action and you just don't want to do it for whatever reason. The declines are simply in keeping with the "You can always say no - no questions asked" philosophy. Personally I like the idea of being able to buy declines. Just giving them out whenever kind of takes away from the game but you want there still to be an option that can get you out of an action should you need to.
