Simple strip card game

My girlfriend and I met these two couples that introduced us to this simple card game. Everyone is dealt three cards and the rest of the cards are placed in the center of the table and everyone can trade up to two cards from the pile in the center of the game. The goal here is to get 31, two face cards and one ace, before someone else does. Then, the person with 31 can knock the table and everyone must show their cards. The person with the lowest card count must remove one article of clothing. This way everyone does not have to remember how to play poker and which hand is worth more than the other. Some of us would cheat which is part of the fun. This game for us is a blast and simple and we would always add different rules to the game. A rule we had is when someone is naked with a loosing he/she must start doing favors for someone with the winning hand.

That is a good idea, we were trying to break the ice with a new couple with strip poker but they didn't know how to play that so we tried jin & that didn't work to well either. Ended up playing old maid, and even that kinda sucked.

We had to fall back on to Truth or dare.lol

Its a wonderful ice breaker. Everyone had a great time. It goes kinda slow which is cool everyone can check each other out. Plus, we always chatted and talked about life in general. The ladies always would make fun of us guys because we would not sit next to each other. The ladies always enjoyed each other but us guys were not into each other.

Our first swing with another couple was a little awkward. The other couples suggested we play strip poker. We did and the ladies seemed to really get into it. The key difference was that the winning hand was the player that removed clothing from the loosing hand. Great fun, eased into the situation, and would recommend it to all.

Sounds like an easy fun game. Michelle and I are not poker players, so we have always ended up making up our own rules when playing with another couple. We will have to try this game. Thanks!!

Wow...GREAT idea! Thank you. I do enjoy strip card games, but i have never really learned poker rules. SO...It usually just ends up being "strip blackjack" which seems to be over pretty quick...Thanks again!

We've played this w/ some friends our to break the ice and get things going. It was a lot of fun. However we discovered one thing, playing cards is not an easy way to get me naked. Which lead to the line of the night: "I can get his pants off faster than the cards can."
