Planning a house party in Dec. and we are going to have a Yankee Swap .Any ideas to put a twist to this

I had to look it up, too.

I am terrible at stuff like that. But since one of the common rules is that it has to be pre-owned - and since this is a swing party - I'd avoid anything that has been roughly used

well those were not the rules i have found but we will not be giving pre owned items this is what i found

I think it's a cool idea, excluding previously used gifts and assuming an upper dollar limit. Makes me think "BYOB" could mean "bring your own batteries"

Now that I know what we are talking about... that would be my thought as well... or not necessarily sex toys but definately adult themed gifts (could be toys, magazines, lotions, a swingers board tote bag...)

As a guest, I'd be thinking that even though the idea is cute, it's taking a very long time to get down to business (the reason we go to the house parties-sex).

Depending on how many people attend, this could take hours (our office of 19 took 2 hours to do a Yankee Swap). Do you really want that much social time taken up?

I like Van's idea of putting bows on the ladies, but someone's feelings could get hurt if they get traded away.

I'd say that the person who receives the gift has to demonstrate it (to get things going in a sexual direction).
