Hi everyone! We are having a couple over in a couple of weeks for the first time and I am trying to think of things to do!(other than the obvious!) We have talked about the evening and are going to probably just have some soft swinging going on. Knowing your guests and yourselves is what will help you. I normally don't like playing games (I deal games at a casino). Movies would interest me. Comedy is good. I like Moulin Rouge. But, it shouldn't take over the evening either. Old fashion conversation? Soft porn for soft swinging?

Sorry to post this so late...but just noticed it. I realize your weekend has come and gone...but I like to put my 2 cents in anyways. I know everyone loves movies...but IMO watching a movie when you have another couple over to play is kind of pointless. I mean...when I was single, I wouldn't go on a first date with someone who wanted to go to the movies, and I love movies. You can't interact when a movies playing, everyone is expected to be quiet, and no one is talking or flirting, etc. I think being more active is better...playing a game, having a quiet conversation, sitting in a hottub, having some soft porn in the background, or perhaps listening to music would be better. By the way.....what did you decide to do and how did it go? Perhaps you'll prove me wrong and a movie was just the thing......

Are there any movies that portray the Lifestyle in a mature and positive manner? I have researched the web and all the posts concerning movies (mainly documentary type films) describe them as unrealistic or unflattering. The Mrs and I have been to a clothing optional resort a couple of times and found the other guests to be the most down to earth and honest people that I have ever met. We haven't taken the plunge into the Lifestyle because the Mrs isn't too sure if she wants to. I thought she might be less reisistant to the idea if there was a film/movie showing couples enjoying the club scene and the social interaction between swingers before, during and after sex, without any 'drama' (emotional meltdowns) or being inundated with the men degrading the women by calling them 'cock whores' and such.

To celtic239 - If there are movies such as you describe, I'd love to hear of them too. I've tried a couple that sounded promising, but they were abysmal. My wife was hesitant as well, but primarily learned what the lifestyle was all about from other women with whom she could share some "girl talk" and they brought her to a place of comfort with it that allowed her to take the plunge. Women share feelings and ideas about the lifestyle in words and ways men could never comprehend so they are your best source of information for your wife.
